The choir not only rocks, but the videographer was rocking also. Poor little thing. And then at exactly 1:00, you hear someone who seems to trying to cough up a hair ball! Yikes!
Wow, it's been ages...! I still remember my part for this piece.
It's so strange seeing all those familiar faces again.
I get such...such a strong feeling of nostalgia when I see this; I never thought I'd be able to see everyone together again. Thank you--thank you for posting this--!
very good tenors. i disagree on the balance, though. sopranos are stabbing air like a needle, but that is so hard to avoid in a song with such an enormous range. and the vowels are very flat and closed, which may be the reason the pitch a little under.
ahh.. and the ending should be taken much, much slower and softer.
This is so ironic. xD. I just commented about Cloudbursts, which I did last year. Now this song, which we are currently doing. Kinda weird. xD. This song has much more balance than Cloudbursts. 8/10.
When we were in high school all we could sing was I Am. The nearest thing to heavenly music we could have. I hope that as people share more music like this even at such a young age, they know they're part of something enormous
Such a good year! I miss Samohi choir/madrigals so much.
