The Doors are like Type O Negative, Alice In Chains etc. They created their own, unique sound that was 100% original. Nobody can recreate the sound unless directly trying to take it from the band. That's what makes them great. Almost all of the artist's/bands/composer's that I listen to have this trait. Can't like one too much than the other because of this. They are all greats, there are many greats, whether it be within the last 50 years or the last 600-700 years.
