@23buie This was at ArenaBowl XXII in 2008, the league came back in 2010 with 15 teams and the Tampa Bay Storm played the Spokane Shock in ArenaBowl XXIII.. Both the Philadelphia Soul and San Jose SaberCats are returning next year.. among others..

It will be live on NFL Network on "Arena Football Friday" starting in March.. Spread the word!!

No, it wasn't conclusive, he may have been over the line. Plus, I rememeber earlier in the game on a 3rd down play we scored a touchdown and it was ruled incomplete but the replay clearly showed it being a catch, the Sould decided not to use their challenge that early and then missed on 4th down. So even if Brackins wasn't over the line, the missed calls would have evened out. I was at that game, never heard the Warchovia Center so loud.

His knee was down but the angle was not for sure. Honastly, I thought he was down just before after watching the replay but because of that 3rd down play, and trust me it happened before the half, I'm not so bitter on getting a possibly not deserving win because both team sorta got cheated.

Football now has been overrun by rules and media football "experts" who judge the game by what they WANT to see. The game has gone from the players to the spectators.

About that I agree if you are talking about the media, look how the NFL is so powerful, because of the media, I love NFL football but there is some rule that are really annoying, too many time out, play under review who takes forever, flag in almost every play, we need another league who is going to be fun, I hope the UFL or the return of the USFL will be fun but don't count on the media to hype those league...

I am hoping tho that the low media involvement of the UFL or new USFL makes the game more pure and exciting at the same time

I don't think the xfl had a chance to grow, it was buried after week one after the media decided it was all gimmicks no substance. As for the football itself, i'd say it was pretty okay maybe similar to USFL 1983 first season, before that league went out and got a few NFL stars/blue chip rookies for the 1984 campaign, then it made a quamtum leap in overall play quality.

So i guess Arenaball is dead huh and this new USFL starts in 2010, i hope they don't make the same mistakes the old USFL !

well in reality the XFL did have a chance to be succesful i mean they were not trying to compete with the NFL because that would never work. The down of the XFL was that it had the Networks pull out in wanting to make games take place in the afternoon rather than primetime also it failed because of the whole Pro Wrestling behind it with Rock Undertaker and Vince McMahon in Mr.McMahon charater on opening night. Finally the XFL failed because it was not given a chance to succed
