My father, Gunnery Sgt. Roy Michael served with the US Marine Corps. for 20 years and was at the battle of Midway Island during WWII. He quit HS to join the Marines and will ALWAYS be my hero. He lived to be 83. Even though I never knew Sgt. Roy, the comments people have said about him remind me of my own father. Once a Marine, ALWAYS a Marine...Thank you to Sgt.
