@NOTSOBER2012 nope the cintiq is just a tablet with a built in LCD display that you can draw on. you have to connect it via cables and connections to your laptop or Desktop computer. The software you will need to draw with.

you use as many layers as you want. If you are trying something new - use a new layer to save messing up work you have already done. Its all for whatever is easiest.

Is it me or is there a big delay on the strokes when he's sketching!!

Their is no delay, It's just the simple facts that cause this effect.... for example, The cintiq is calibrated to be accurate from your point of view, so if watching at an angle, plus the thickness of the glass makes it seem like their is a delay.

Its the delay on the camera, an example is his arms moving faster than you see, the camera can just capture a frame of the arm instead of the whole movement, its got some delay too.. like a fraction of a second delay XD

But, I gotta say, you've got some serious skills there. I've seen your other videos as well, and I love you you use multiple medias, like traditional and digital. Most artists usually only stick to one and get rusty in the rest. Really nice work, I love it!

Im 14 too, I have a wacom tablet that does NOT have a screen, and is like the size of a post it pad. lol. I do a lot of little random animations and post them on Youtube, the only ones worth seeing are the videos of pictures I drew, Scenery view, and coughing sun. I feel your pain bro. I too want a tablet like that. ITS NOT A TABLET, ITS A POSTER!

Why the video is so fast? i can´t see the delay of the wacom

That's because unless you're running a really, really crappy G5, you don't have any lag at all. Even the cheapest computers nowadays can run at 1600 by 1200 resolution. It actually should be more than that for the price, but like Apple, Wacom has patented the shit out of everything they own and cintiqs are closed hardware.

You should realize that the tablet will not improve your work or anything. It will just make it easier to work digitally. I have no doubt that Hawk find some ease working like this, but he's also a very good artist, who knows his stuff. Me, I'll stick with my Intuos3 4x5, since it does what I need it to, AND it wasn't 2,400+ dollars XD
