Most of what I used is either MAC or Make up For Ever (MUFE). You can buy MAC at MAC stores or counters and you can buy MUFE at Sephora. Hope that helps! :)

So often, and in this look, I use two bases. One colourless one like I mentioned to you before, and then one coloured one. The first one makes sure that the makeup doesn't crease and lasts longer and the coloured one makes the eyeshadow you put on top of it pop and look brighter. so if you have cream eyeshadows, those will work as coloured bases. For creaseless bases a.k.a. eyeshadow primers, you can buy them at Sephora, online or I'm sure some drugstore brands also make them. :)

if you don't have a base you can use a tiny bit of concealer or foundation all over your eyelid. On top of that if you wanted to use a coloured base like I do in this video, you can use an eye pencil is the right colour and put that on your eyelid before your eyeshadow.

@livebreathemakeup hey there, i just saw this comment, but i wouldn't recommend putting concealer/foundation on your eyelid! you should not put any product on your eyelid that is not made for it because they are very thin and can seep through to your eye

Most of the products I used in this look are from MAC or Make Up For Ever (MUFE). This products are probably mid-range in pricing. It is not super important to use the exact products that I am using, but try to use similar products! Hope that helps! :)

A base is usually a cream product that you apply to your eyelid before any eyeshadow products. Bases have two main functions. The first is to create a barrier between the natural oils of your eyelids and any makeup you put on top so that the oils don't ruin your eyeshadow look. The second is to create a tacky base so that any powdered eyeshadows you use after have something to adhere to. In doing so the eyeshadows appear brighter, more pigmented and are longer lasting. :)

Nice tutorial, looks amazing :) I have brown eyes and I love wearing purples and blues. Something I found that works well for me is wearing shimmery golden brown shadow on top and using a pale blue or any shade if purple liner boldly along the bottom lashes. Again, nice work!

When I first saw your comment I thought maybe you were talking about shadow fallout but I re-watched the video and I don't really have any fallout so I'm guessing the "messiness" you're referring to is the shimmer in my bronzer and my cheek highlight since there was no glitter used in the look. Some people prefer to use matte face products but I prefer ones with shimmer to make my skin look dewy although

Then you can play with any colours you like because brown doesn't have a direct opposite colour. I suggest playing with colours that flatter your skintone rather than your eye colour. Hope that helps! :)
