Bullshit. It's what you make it, in your own home and in your own life. When we gather with loved ones on Thanksgiving Day and my 9-year old reads aloud a prayer at dinner that she wrote, expressing thanks for our food, our health, our safety and family etc...and we take time to  think of those less fortunate...there is nothing but good coming out of that. Do your part to help make Thanksgiving just that - a giving of Thanks.

Well yes quite right. Thanksgiving should be a time for all of us to think of how we began. We came, killed and put the rest of the natives into camps called "reservations" and took almost all of their land then went to Africa to buy "human cargo" in chains and brought them.
