  • Seems to me too much elevator on the climb out made it stall, then out of shot, so just suspicions here, it went inverted from which the pilot was unable to recover from at the low height - so pilot error was to blame me thinks !

  • I am so Sorry, feel with you. Its so sad. Greetings from Germany.

  • crap camera work

  • what a jerk off

  • it's also a cameraman disaster... lol

  • lixo.....

  • REMOVE THIS CRAB

  • @dinoaxd USE THE OFF BUTTON!!! ha ha ha

  • @MustangBazza fuck off you idiot motherfucking cocksucker.

  • I've got a cessna with a 3 meter wingspan. My co-pilot crashed it on our second flight. I know how ge feels.

  • who was shooting the video? he could have caught the crash... not go after the plane...

  • 2:32 was the sound of everyone thinking this sucked!

  • Why bother posting this vid??????? Learn to fly, & film, then try again!

  • This is what happens when an idiot get ahold of a camera, and another idiot gets ahold of an rc plane.

  • I think I heard it hit at 2:32

  • Great thing about model flying is that the pilot generally survives. Unless the owner doesn't have a well developed sense of humour.

Shame, looked good on take off.

  • i understand what you feel. keep it up brother !

  • stop stirring this camera stupid motherfucker

  • Very sad. That is why I dont fly superscale. Too much heartbreak. Was a beautiful cessna, what a shame.

  • I feel sad inside now.

  • What you say is correct, that is why I was running 2 x 6v packs connected through a battery backer, this takes care of a dead cell or dead pack issue so there was plenty of power available, also when I test my cells it is always under load conditions, only running standard servos not high power digital servos which demand more power. The light system is run off of a seperate 4.8v nicad pack so as not to drain any power from the Rx system. Thanks for your input but it wasn't low cell power. :-)

  • failsafe is often caused by a low battery. I have experienced this toooooo many times. What happens is when you check the battery it shows up at a high voltage, but that is because there are no servos or motors to be powered when you check the battery. many receivers cut out at a certain voltage, spektrum is at 4.6, just .2 volts less than a fully charged 4.8 battery. If you are going to use a complex control system, make sure you have waayyy more electrical power than you need. hope that helps

  • poor little cessna. it looked very nice.

  • i would delete that junk video what crap

  • @soaper71 each to their own weener!

  • that realy hurts.:(

  • nose down, regain speed, quick turn right (into the wind) = more lift and glide down softly... perfect landing

  • @acteuro03 wow ure so smart, i cant beleive the guy didnt think of that!..well maybe if he had ANY control of the aircraft you would've tried that..lol

  • Is that noise @2:32 it hitting the ground : (

  • why do you people continue to put these shit ass videos on here??? learn how to run a camera !!!!!!!

  • wtf is that crap video?

  • that is an amazing looking aircraft if this plane had an electric start engine that would make it the perfect scale looking aircraft :)

  • Sad end to a beautiful looking plane. It looked rebuildable though - then again I'm demented enough to put six old hulks in the jigs and have a go at them! One previously very broken (30+ year old) airframe completed 4 successful test flights a couple of days ago and reuses 85% of the original wood. Won't name the (rare) plane, the owner would probably shoot me! The moral is... don't junk 'em, someone out there could possibly get 'em back in the air for you.

  • sorry

  • it looks like snoopy

  • was das fürn scheisss zu blöd zum filmen oder wat ?

  • That my friends is one sweet plane. And yes, lump in throat when I think I heard the thud. Hope she's back.

  • look at it this way.... you didn't crash you just "re-kitted" it

  • Skyartec ????

THIS company if producing Flying Bricks !!

Stay away from this shit stuff

  • I was flying my RC plane this evening and had some type of radio failure. I cannot find any explanations. The reciever battery was fully charged, the transmitter battery was as well. Then all of a sudden, the plane would not respond and it went diving downward. As it picked up speed it climbed out and came back towards me, and somehow i had control of the airplane again, i immediatly landed. Before I put it back up, I want to know what happened. What can you tell me about this failsafe thing?

  • hmmmm does a pettrol engine have a fail safe i didnt know it did or are you saying the radio kicked in to failsafe?

  • @grahamoutflying Hi the engines don't have the fail safe, it is set up through the receiver so that if there is loss of radio control then the failsafe kicks in, you can set failsafe to cut/stall the engine right through to full throttle, but it is generally set to tick over so the plane, if in flight will then come down sooner rather than later, as later could be miles away in a busy town! Not a good thought :-)

  • R.I.P Cessna...

  • Very nice Cessna :(

  • @albolooki Thank you, I have a replacement flying now, I hope to get some better video this year

  • that looks real

  • @blueot1998 Thank you

  • shitty camera man

  • @guitarharish yep i screwed up with that footage, bet then it was my plane and I was in shock! lol

  • What size aircraft was this and what engine you had on it?

  • it is a 150 size with a 95" wing span and it flies excellently on a Zenoah 26cc petrol engine

  • The motor could have caused the problem, something may have become un-shielded or maybe the the switch messed up and lost power to the receiver. I would retire that receiver or use it in a combat plane.

I am currently building a Cessna 182 81" span with all the lights as well. I am using a O.S. 120 4 stroke with pump, should have more than enough power, 20cc. It is a bit over kill but I like having power when I need it.

Sorry about your plane. was really nice. Good luck with your next one.

  • 20cc should be enough alright, my Z26 flies the new one on quarter throtle, thanks for the message

  • @conexn It went in the bin, unlike many who sell there's on ebay for a quick buck at someone elses loss, have changed to 2.4 for the replacement model and all has been working well

  • @MustangBazza 2.4 is the way to go for sure!! Those stills are so sad :(

Rest in peace.....or in that case, pieces.

Glad you got a new one going. THat must have been hard when that one went down.

I had a plane glitch on me and ended up behind a fence. Luckily it was a 37" 4ch EPO Cessna and I got it back ;)

  • @MustangBazza Currently our world has gone MAD!!!!? I guess if one has so much money, and many servents throu generations, then one think that they are GOD!!! BUT STILL its really good to find Hunesty and Goodness between people.....

What you put with one hand you always get in return with the other..:-)

Good Luck with your Next build....I think i will go for a 2.4 for my next radio too :-)

  • fucking camera man...hope the thing landed on his head! Div!!!!

  • Kill the Cameraman, (Lol the propeller was untouchable :PP in my plane i allready changed 4 propellers but now i need to change the plane :(((

  • Comment removed

  • Can you pls tell me who's the manufacturer of this plane. think i need one.

    It looks so good.

  • there's a cessna by "Skyartec" company but i'm not sure what is this cessna from.

  • Thanks

  • @maestrosVIP sorry for the slow response! I think it says in one of the videos, it's a Hanger 9 150 size, 95" wing span

  • @MustangBazza don't worry for the slow response, thank you!!! :)

  • @praveen24121 sorry for the slow response it's a Hanger 9 150 size, 95" wing span

  • @MustangBazza Thanks.

  • sad

  • commiseration

  • the plane would be better cameraman but sorry about the plane mate :(

  • Bad pilot and bad camera man LOL ! !

  • damn,, that was a beautifle plane too, but thats why i dont really use flaps with my cessnas

  • it just breaks your heart aye.. i hate when that happens to my $200 foamie!

  • Next time get a camera man that knows what he is doing! Sorry about the plane. It was beautiful.

  • Unlucky mate, beautifull plane. But it would have been nice if you had kept the camera on the plane for everyone to watch the impact, I bet the crash was MEGA!!

  • next time you get a failsafe , pull your throttle stick to idle, then back up...this is supposed to restore the system...I know because I had the same crap on a 2.4.....

  • Was the engine ok after?

Prop looked like it had taken a bad knock!

  • Oh man , that had to suck having a model that good destroyed!

  • thats a beautiful aircraft buddy

  • thanks for the comment, number 2 is almost ready to test fly,,,, couldn't not have a Cessna in the hanger

  • he he he

  • what a video of it taxiing on the ground then some lovely footage of some grass terrible

  • man that sucks, but what sucks even more is that you didn't even get it on camera!

  • its a shame to see such a beautiful plane go in, it looked stunning on the ground. failSAFE my ass, they dont help imho.

  • I agree, I should've just had fail safe on the throttle, that way i would have still had control of flight surfaces,,,,maybe

  • prolly you should check the black box.

  • Ehhh Mateno worries... some glue and you'll be up in no time.

  • Lol I like how dramatic it was but fair enough, that sucks! Did your frend help pay for damages? Or did you lose two friends that day? =S

  • finally, somone that watches the vid, and takes in all the relative information!, the amount of way out comments I get like, it must have been very windy to cause that???? I seriously didn't think 4 one moment that my friend could be blamed, I expected nothing from him towards the loss either. Ken is a solid upstanding guy that I feel priviledged to have as a good friend, I would trust him to fly one of my planes again tomorrow, (but not today!) hee hee, Glad you liked the drmatic vid,,,, Bazza

  • do you use a battery to run the lights when the engine is turned off?

  • Yes, there was a seperate power source that powered the lights.and the model was running on 6v with a back up device with another 6v supply should the first run low or fail.

  • fuck pcm failsafe

  • it looks like a little to musch wind that day

  • nice jet

  • jet?????

  • Terrible timing for turning the camera away..

  • Ohh man, thats sad video, and after all nice hopefull feelings this came happen,..

  • i am just in the middle of a full build cessna. same aircraft.

i hope this doesnt happen to me, i know the time you would have spent on this, heartbreaking.

But a very good job on the build it looked great. Shame this happened.

  • many thanks for the comment, will be starting the replacement very shortly

  • I just made a parachute for my plane LOL... I have a servo that I switch if anything happens and it shoots out. I hope I never have to use it

  • me too, I've seen this idea used on a full size, if you do have to use it,,,,, I hope it works well!

  • On take off and climb out the receiver went into failsafe due to interference and so the motor returned to tick over, and control surfaces are locked out, the air was already under the wings in the climb out, so when the motor went to tick over the nose continued up inducing a stall, without power or control at that moment, it was not possible to get the nose back down to force a landing or power away. Not pilot error, just s**t 35mHz interference. GO 2.4!!!

  • Sad your plane crashed, it was beautiful!

but there is nothing wrong with 35mhz, if installed correctly.

I have problems with my 2,4ghz.

Ill stick to 35mhz, over 250flights without even one interferance

  • did you have good batteries...low batteries can make such things happen.

  • I was running 2 lots of new 6v Cells split with a backup system that tells you if any cells are down or dead. I run this system to help prevent supply problems to Rx and Servos, batteries were perfect

  • Many Thanks for comments and funnies, This is how it was,,,, The model had been test flown a whole weekend without lights. then the Lights were installed, C of G Re-checked, radio range checked etc, etc. The model then flew perfectly without fault for it's first flight, lights on/off, touch and goes etc. Then on the second flight, my friend who is a public display pilot who has flown the model previously, took control so that I could video the flight for U-tube etc. then,,,,read on

  • so what made the plane crash, looked like off C.G and your friend was saying nose down, so you can get out of the stall.

  • Hi, thanks for the message, i am doing a reply to all further down the page. :-)

  • tahats alot of flap for take off!

  • im sorry for your loss, that was damn fine aircraft. Nice build!!!

  • feel so sad, such a beautiful airplane :'(

  • i'm getting this plane but on a smaller scale. i really hope that doesn't happen to mine.

  • Use 2,4, it's THE way to go

  • stupid camera man 1/5!

  • I hate when camera men do that and lose focus on what they're taking. the lease you expect after an accident like is to have on tape those lats moments of your plane before it hits the ground, someone should slap that guy haha

  • hey, thats not really fair, it was an expensive plane and he must have been in shock. besides, why would you want the crash on tape, so you can whatch it over and over again? if he was a pro camera man then yes, it would be very bad.

  • Are you sure it wasnt you that went into failsafe and not the plane. hehe jk. sorry to hear about the plane, whatsup with the shaky video in the end.

  • OUCH!!!!!
