I disagree - I think Johnny Depp was the devil. Just as Jesus was "God" but didn't take his ministry until baptized by John the Baptist. The same is for the girl, she is there to guide him but she may have been sent by Depp, unknowingly to guide his human form to it's destiny. Just a thought.
