when I die, I will remember nothing. Not even that I lived. Everything will be pointless. Just a waste of time and space. What does it matter. Nothing whatsoever. You won´t even remember I wrote this. Who gives a fuck. Thank you and goodnight.
A Japanese movie called "Black Rain" (not the one with Michael Douglas" which referred to the fallout that killed survivors of Hiroshima years after the bomb fell.
William was from a well to do family. His father was a scion of some kind. He was "gay" of course, although he did get married. He and his wife engaged in a bit of horseplay at a barbecue Bill threw for his friends. The barbecue ended abruptly I'm told when Mr. Burroughs played William Tell, {poorly I might add} and shot his then wife right between the eyes. I don't know what Bill said to the guests at the barbecue, but I'm told there were no "seconds" and everyone went home quietly.
basement. old ymca locker room area. the bathroom has multiple urinals and toilet stalls. an impressive apartment. one floor down from giorno's apartment and a few floors down from mike goldberg's apartment (painter).
Actually, Morrison just picked up a phone in the desert and called Alain Ronay. He was making the short film you can find here on YouTube, "HWY". He may have been thinking about this, but the sound byte is not the same as Morrison's voice.
does anyone know where the Bunker was when Burroughs lived there in NYC? i believe it was on the Lower East side but i could be mistaken. I was just reading Hunke's The Herbert hunke Reader and there is a photo of Ginsberg, Burroughs and Hunke there circa 1978
do you happen to know the exact address? Was it on the Bowery and 2nd St? I'd love to know what's there now. probably a fucking cafe or some yuppie fuckhole
Check out the book "With William s. Burrroughs: A Report From The Bunker" by Victor Bockris. Its all about WSB's time spent at the "Bunker" in NY. It may help you find the place, I know that it used to be a YMCA or something like that if that helps any. It's also a really in depth book that has a lot of conversations with WSB, it's a great book.
Thanks. i was actually just watching a great dvd a collaboration with Burroushs/Gysin...it takes place mostly in Dublin and Berlin, though. I believe the Bunker was on the Bowery, around where the former CBGB's was located, either a block or two up or down
These calls cannot be after the A- bomb , Please explain the source of this I don't get this and I don't think this is explained at all. Time or reality , or practicaly wise . Thanks >
APOLOGY was a late-70s art project that had nothing to do with Burroughs.

I'm glad Peter can predict the future. #LOL anyways, Burroughs forever. such a legendary gay/junkie poet/arist/writer.

Uncle Bill was from the Burroughs adding machine family. It is accountancy that sent him on his journey, point of fact.

The quote of the man killing a man is also in one of The Doors songs.... "I don't know how to say this, but I killed a man"
