That is not a fair race.....the driving conditions are not set equal each time. plus the driver is human and can never be accustomed to all the cars he drives perfectly since that takes weeks and weeks to really feel a car perfectly and push it to its maximum cornering ability
the veyron is the most powerfull car ever to be filmed
How are the driving conditions not the same? And of course the driver is human, do you have a better idea?
You could say that, if given enough time, he could have pushed the Zonda even harder, but that's not the point. The point is that sheer power isnt everything.
And the Veyron is not the most powerful car ever, production or otherwise.
@ankhenaten2 how would it take weeks and weeks to really feel a car? Is that like finding out your maximum entry speed at certain corners? or knowing how much to turn in so you can keep your steeringwheel in one position through a corner? the feel of the chassis? the feeling of the pedals? all that stuff?
as the Stig is a racingdriver he has the skill and feel for cars. Whatever car you drive as a true driver, you get a feel for it within hours and hours.
wow listen the sound of this zonda. is perfect

Anyway please remember what kind of cars are there behind Veyron on that board ....
Very very impressive for a car like that with such a comfort and weight, I really thought she was good only on straight tracks...
