  • Hi I enjoyed your video, I am on week 15 and need a little advice my wbc is 1.1, Abs Neut is 0.4, My RBC is 2.99, my Hgb is 9.5, my Hct is 28.2, My Plt is 64, my lymph is 52,My Gran is 37. I don't know what all this means and it is my FIRST bloodwork because I fell thru the cracks and he forgot about me. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your post...Sherri

  • yo man its me a buddy in canada and even though i still been using heroin intrevinesly evry day during treatment it has been a complete success im on month 10 and got two left i should sugest to you try instead of taking youre morning pills in the morning take them around 6-8 pm and take yhe rest of youre pills around 12 1 am it will help you get throught the dat better i found taking my pills in the mornin made the day ruffer to get through

  • @riddlore1 my hep c specialist told me i had to get off heroin before i could start the treatment but my doctor tells me hes full of shit..now just seein your response to djrezin8 i now know that treatment can work with still being on the gear so thanks for that mate i will try and get a different specialist as this one is a bit of a tosser and maybe i can start the course my count is 3 which is quite high.well good luck bud hope it all works out for you

    I think that you should discuss this with a doctor that has experience with HCV treatment. Your hgb , hct , rbc ,platelet count and neutrophil counts are low. I think this is the time for ancillary therapy to raise those counts and try as much as possible NOT TO DECREASE YOUR RIBAVIRIN DOSE Personally I used erythropoetin and testosterone to raise my hgb and rbc count during the whole of 48 and 72 week treatment and didnt need any dose reduction.

  • well keep it up, and don't worry, because once i also faced the same type of side effects while going through this treatment,and i was succeeded to clear the virus and hence attained SVR. so again i would say that don't give up and carry on, because you can and will defeat this disease
