I'm not black, but have been raised in Tacoma, and most blacks have allot of emotion and don't mind telling you what's what. That's why their music is so damn good... Allot of heart and emotion. This wasn't a black/white thing, it was a cultural thing. If she was less combative, she would have got a ticket she could fight in court, and life would have gone on. She shouldn't have jaywalked (like most of us do). They were putting the officer in danger, and he had to get control quick.

Plus they started the physical altercation with the officer. It was his duty to gain control of the situation. He only hit her once and that was to gain control. He used the least amount of force necessary.
