I wonder why Paganini came to mind when I saw this young star play... In Dutch he is known as the 'duivelskunstenaar' - the devil's artist. Just about the only time the devil is used in a good sense. Kudos to¨Mai!

The dynamics in this movement keep it so interesting. I can't pinpoint it, but I just really like a lot of Ravel's stuff.
