im afraid to use the M20B20 engine because here in malaysia , gearbox stalling is common .. and one new complete gearbox costs approx. RM20k .. that scares me , using EJ20 (subaru boxer) now to save maintainence costs ...

The old Bimmers are incredible, vicious machines. I drive a 95 525 and I would take on older Bimmer any day over a new one. The old ones are the real ultimate driving machines, built for performance and speed not pussy luxury barges.

I have an 86 E28 535i with a 5 speed and the optional LSD. Wicked car and incredibly fast for being nearly a quarter of a century old. Chassis is super reponsive but I think it has a a fair amount of body roll. 535is or M5 suspension bits and some lower profile tires would probably help it tons.

It`s a E30 M-Tech II steering wheel part no. 32 33 2 226 086 It`s 370mm instead of 385mm ;) It`s great just one little thing about it... You won`t see the speedometer :) hehe

6 cylinders in line, 1991ccm, 150hp/5900rpm, 24v, max. speed in documents 210, real about the 225-30 km/h....excelent car....I´v got 520i about 6 months...BMW?..style, power, technology....and my motto while engine is started? "GO baby, GO and let me burn!"...sry for my english..

Yes it`s M20B20... It starts to wake up after 4000 rpm :)

Not much... slightly lowered 45/40 Bilstein B6 shocks. Engine stock execpt the K&N filter.

Yes, only the air filter is changed to K&N panel filter.
