  • You should cut out all dairy products. maybe you could try the 801010 lifestyle. you can eat as much fruit as you want. Check out the book, it's called 801010 by Dr Doug Graham. Also a website based around the 811 lifestyle called '30 bananas a day'. There are some amazing weight loss stories on there. Also youtube clips of weight loss on the 801010 or 811 or Low Fat Raw Vegan (LFRV).

I hope you are doing well now.

  • I seen that you said you are losing weight.. What do you eat in a day now that you realized what you were doing? I'm trying to lose weight, but don't have the strength to stay on a diet & I binge a lot from depression. Any tips would be great!

  • Hi, I was also terrible at keeping a food diary until I started using an app on my phone called "Calorie Counter", it's pretty good - just in case you want to try it! :)

  • @mugsymalone21 Ha I just realised that sounds like an advert, it's not I promise!

  • Brave woman <3<3

  • i eat 900-1200 a day :/ i just dont get hungry and i get full easily

  • @mycrazycatXD lucky you lol

  • I only eat about 800 cal. per day.

  • @ANBCommunity thats probally good if your inactive but if you are active your should try haveing just a couple more hundred so you dont get weak just like in extra banana and/or apple a day just saying :)

  • @SuperSweetRasberry I am really weak :(

  • @ANBCommunity well eat more then your body is probably seriously lacking you must get some sort of activity everyday so lets Deduct 2 hundred calories now you burn so many calories just for being alive so lets deduct another hundred your down to 5 hundred now and sleeping is about 80 calories and all the other things you do in a day probably another hundred so you are surviving on a 3 hundred calories a day which is an under eat of 4 days id say up your calories by at least 700

  • @ANBCommunity this will bring you to a healthy 1500 calorie diet well actually depending on just how active you are you might even need between 1800-2000 calories a day but i hope you get feeling better and heathlier :)

  • owning up to your actions and recognizing what you are doing wrong is the first step.

now you know what you are doing wrong, you can work on fixing it.

you're way ahead of the game, so many people are like you said, in complete denial.

  • So what did you learn?.... You need to cut back... A lot, I mean so much girl

  • You are sooo sweet and strong and believe me I never give compliments on YouTube (I am one of those "haters" commenters haha). Hope ur doing well, and my respect for ur positive attitude!

  • On a 2000 Calorie a day recommended diet DAMN

  • You are still so beautiful and always rememebr that when you are feeling down. Just keep going, and keep your head up. :0) i am trying too, to loose weight and you have encouraged me to get a Diet Journal. Thanks! I have to try it.

  • What a very honest thing to do. I hope it's helped you lots in your recovery and weight loss x

  • This is such a good idea. I too eat a lot more than what I actually "think" I do. Everytime I try to keep a food diary, I always leave out things that I have eaten. I know other people in the house will see it and I am so embarassed, but I'm sure they realize that I didn't get this way (80 pounds overweight) just by eating carrot sticks. If I recorded it on my iPod then I'd be the only one able to hear it and I would probably be more honest with myself. Congrats on your weightloss!!!

  • I think it`s a really great thing that you did here. I very proud of you :)

  • @britturk123 She is suffering from an illness you jerk.

You mock about people suffering from other illnesses too?

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, you are so brave.

I look up to you - honestly.

  • I ate that much too in a day this summer and did not gain 1lb! My metabolism is kinda F**ked up!

  • yum bowl lol a pint of ice cream?

  • It takes a lot of guts to own up to that. Before I started counting my calories, I would graze all day and have no idea how much I was eating. When you eat a little bit of this and that all day, it might not seem like that much at first but then it really adds up. I see that you've lost 50 lbs, so congrats! I wish you luck and continued success. It's hard to lose weight, I know.

  • @kalars88 Right on. Spot on!

  • i weigh 308 are you close to that i feel fat i feel im a skinny girl in a fat girls body

  • Thank you so much for sharing these....I've just started my own vlog, and you're really inspiring! :) Look forward to your next videos! xx

  • Wow, wow, WOW! You should be proud of yourself for taking the first steps and owning up to the fact you have a problem and how you got to where you are. I'm subscribing! I have also struggled with binge eating and I'm going to start my weight loss videos soon. Take care girl. You can make the change!

  • Dear Just A Photo Girl . You have truly inspired me. I have one of thos recorders that I use for my voice lessons. It NEVER occured to me to use it to log my calorie. I to have trouble maintaining a food log. I am going to use my recorder in the same fashion as you.

Thank you for your candor :-)

  • That was very brave! I used to eat that way too, and I didn't understand why I was gaining! Journals are a great tool, I need to start using a journal again myself, the recorder is a great idea!

  • you should try what im doing, i already lost 20 lbs this month. i eat 1,100 calories a day. eat WHATEVER you want, just make sure its under that #. people will comment and say that what im doing isnt good for me, but im not gonna keep it up. why dont u just TRY it for a month, you will look so different.

  • good for you

  • I hope u reach it goal :)

  • I am also a binge eater ... im going to start making weightloss video tomorrow

  • I think you're beautiful......

  • dont worry about losing waight just let yoursalf go

  • You remind me of pam from the tv show "the office"

  • @ilovebelladonna I dont really know if its the same for women because they dont produce all the testosterone. But I feel like im eating fast food all the time, and ive had people ask me what my diet is or how I exercise. But all I do is exercise about an hour every other day.

  • youre so brave for putting this up! I applaud you.

  • Hey girl! Don't blame the fast food. I eat fast food every day and im fine. Its the lack of extreme exercise and lots of people just dont have the motivation. You need about 2 hours of exercise where it feels like you cant go anymore. It cant be light exercise. Eat all the fast food you want and try that. I bet you that youll love the results.

  • @EricLesher I read somewhere recently that diet makes up 90% of your weight loss and exercising makes very little difference. So, I'm just guessing you have some super metabolism because if a normal person ate fast food everyday, they would eventually become morbidly obese. Most of those bed ridden people you see on TLC are at that weight because they eat out too much. I gained 18-20 pounds by eating fast food for only like 3 days while on vacation last summer.

  • @CrownJewel32 Working out properly is way more important. You ever seen michael phelps interview where he says he eats fast food 7 times a day? lebron james also admitted to eating fast food daily. Metabolism? Isnt that based off how you train your body from youth? ;)

  • @EricLesher LOL Those are just two people and of course they wouldn't be fat----they're athletes who work out around the clock. It's their job to exercise, too, so of course they would be able to stay fit while eating all that junk food. Maybe you work-out a lot---I'm talking about hours. Your average everyday person who eats out everyday and only works out an hour would probably gain weight. And, if you only exercise an hour a day, your metabolism is probably very fast.

  • @CrownJewel32 Well I am a full time college student, and have a job which consumes about 20 hours of my week and I find time to exercise 2 hours before I go to bed. Usually about 30 minutes of cardio and then just sitting down in front of the tv and doing situps while I watch it or lifting free weights. It isnt that difficult for people to do.

  • @EricLesher 2 hours of exercise a day is probably why you're able to stay slim. But, I guarantee you if you ate fast food everyday without exercising, you would be overweight (And, possibly a morbidly obese person in a couple of years).

  • @CrownJewel32 What im trying to get at is u can eat anything u want if u exercise.

  • @CrownJewel32 And they were also defintly not professional atheletes until they were adults anyways. They didnt have all day to work out either.

  • congrats on your weight loss.

  • im skinny and i binge every now and then but its people like you that make me regret it....

  • I´m binging everyday, sometimes quiet third of a day:(((My weight is 60kg now and I had 45kg.I had aorexia nervosa and now I´m bulimic!!????OMG help!!!I can´t stop!!!!!!I´m slowly breaking down!!!!

  • @KajdaAl Are you serious, I don't know whether to take you seriously or not?

  • @KajdaAl You are probably binging because you aren't eating enough. Tell a doctor and get on a meal plan - or realize that you will look better when you eat more.

  • oh wow! 50 lbs way to go hun! I've lost about 50 or 60 myself. C: BTW yes focus more so on eating healthy then calories. You need to make sure you're eating fruits and vegetables. Also stay away from the sodas. owo BTW if you want good healthy desserts I recommend you buy Kashi. :D

  • 50lbs - BRILLIANT !!!!!!! Yay.

  • 3:26 first water so late in the day! Hun, try drinking a litre as soon as you wake up - it will help a lot with the cravings. It might seem like a lot but just keep a bottle with you wherever you go and keep drinking. Hope you're feeling better and taking care of your lovely self

  • so by now, have you lost weight?

  • @WatermelonPictures Yes about 50 pounds

  • @justaphotogirl Congrats!

  • @justaphotogirl You go girl!!

  • @justaphotogirl Congrats!

  • i dont think your a binge eater... you just have very bad habits. im a binge eater and its so different to how you eat. binging is like when theres food in the cupboard and you just have to eat it like in your mind you have to. you cant think of anything else and you have to eat it all even if your so so full up you have to until its gone and not in the cupboard anymore

  • @adoringcarmine I agree. She is not a binge eater but just makes very bad choices. I actually took this meal plan she ate and tweeked it and it is actually between 2000-3000 calories.

  • You are so brave! Good luck to you!

  • youre beautiful :D

  • love how you say "dear diary" :)

  • really? u had that for breakfast and wonder why ur gaining weight?

  • you have to remember, you arent going to loose your amount of weight overnight. And counting calories is not the best thing to start with, even for a person who isnt large. Intead, try mainting normal sized portions. Even try healthy snack throughout the day to boost your metabolism and keep you less hungry when the next meal comes around. I really hope you reach your goal!! Good luck!

  • let me help you to lose so much weight, i promise!

  • very brave of you to post these videos.. i wish you all the best in your recovery process and I'm rooting for you! Changing your life IS possible :) think of it one day at a time.. not as a huge mountain you're trying to climb. I really do hope you find the right balance in your life

  • I don't think counting calories is the right thing for you right now at all. I think it needs to be focusing on simple portion control. Meaning you have to start VERY slowly. You also need to start exercising immediately. Even though it will be difficult at this time, just start with a short walk, no matter how short, and keep going from there. You can do it!

  • what about gastric bypass surgery or something like that?

  • @rawrloler, you obviously have no idea what having an eating disorder is like. It's a disorder it's not always a choice and often people need professional help. Recovery is a very long process. I find it interesting how people can express sympathy and understanding for anorexics but for obsessive eaters the understanding is lacking or non existent.

To the lady in the video. You are a beautiful person and very brave! I was once morbidly obese. It took me 2 years but I lost 155 lbs. you can do

  • Wow...we have the same blouse which is black too. LOL

  • WORRY LESS ABOUT EATING AND MORE ABOUT EXERCISING

  • irish moss is the best natural weight loss solution in the world, and contains most of the minerals one's body needs

  • My diet - I do three meals a day. Breakfast two slices of toast and scrambeled eggs. Lunch a mix of salada - as much as I want - they are so yummy and I'm usually full afterwards. I also eat a piece of fruit or have a smoothie. Dinner is fish or chicken with lots of vegtables - as much as I want or moreso that I don't feel hungry. I never eat processed foods - they are like a drug and make you want more. Try to clense these foods from your system and eat lots and lots of vegtables or lean meat

  • I binged this whole weekend, it's just emotional eating, sometimes I'm not even enjoying it

  • Definitely with the unprocessed food. You'll lose the bloated feeling, feel a lot better, and reap all the benefits of what nature has to offer! Plus craving eventually diminish for junk food because your body realises how terrible they make you feel

  • You have so much courage!! I used to struggle with binge eating and one day I woke up and realized just what I was doing to myself. I've been able to lose 90 pounds since then. I feel so much better about myself. Us humans are capable of anything if we set our minds to it!! If you want I'd be happy to have a conversation with you. We need all the support we can get!

  • Your Very Brave for letting eveyone see this ...as I have had an eating disorder since i was 12 its a very private thing to go through. Everyday is a struggle with food but I think the struggle is more so on the inside and when we learn to love ourselves no matter what size we are is when we are healthy. Goodluck!

  • Your breakfast that day is the caloric equivalent to the food I eat in an entire day, kind of.

The thing is that in volume, your breakfast is extremly small, but since I eat unprocessed foods and very little animal products my 1200-1800 calories a day are a mountain of food in volume.

Listen to frodosauce. His/her coment hits the target here.

  • It's true--raw foods are so low in calorie! You gat full fast, but if you still need some convenience foods in your life, look up nutrition facts ahead of time and make a list of what you will or won't eat off the menu. Sometimes ttwo items you both like have totally different calorie valuies. I was torn between a fishj sandwich and nuggets--turns out one is 770, the other 450. I like them both, so knowing that, I choose the lower cal option. Small changes add up to big results!

  • Don't worry about weight loss as much. You'll start to stress about all the weight you have to lose. Take it one step at a time. I've lost 5 stone since March by just changing my eating habits. I changed from Cola to Fruit Juice and then to Water, White Bread to Brown Bread, White Pasta to Brown Pasta and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, walk for 30 minutes a day. :) Just take it gradually and you'll see massive results. :) :)

  • @MidoriCrayon actually i've noticed in the anorexia vids, there are a lot of people who say the girls look "disgusting", "gross", "bony", etc and call them shallow and bring up how there are starving people in the world, etc. just saying, they get a lot of hate too...

  • Kudos to you for being honest with yourself. All that processed food and so many empty calories - this sounds strange, but in terms of nutrients you are starving your body. Your poor body is on a sugar rollercoaster! I bet you feel run down, grumpy, lack energy etc. Forget calorie counting to start, just make your own meals at home, portion them up, freeze some so that you always have something handy for when you get home, and have stuff to carry around with you for when you feel hungry.

  • brown rice with cheese??

  • Yeah and if you're eating entire pints of ice cream, you're doing it wrong.

  • Mmmm, yum sauce! That yum bowl sounds disgusting AND wtf is in it?! 1,046 calories?!

  • Dirty bulk.

  • my advice: stop obsessing over counting calories and stop this food diary crap- just eat healthier food, (smaller portions throughout the day) drink a lot of water, don't eat at least a couple hours before sleeping, stay away from soda, and eat slowly if you can. And the most important one: exercise. I'm sure if you have enough to record videos, you have enough time to exercise. McDonalds and Starbucks won't make you any thinner- you can find healthier options at the grocery store. good luck

  • Some of the comments on this video disgust me.

  • if you're too busy, then MAKE TIME.

  • i was a binge eater as a kid/early teen then started extreme-restricting with the occasional binge & purge session ~ if i eat like a "normal" person (the ammount of cals needed for my height) i get fat.....it's so f*cking depressing to know the only way i can be seen as beautiful and healthy (what a joke!!) is by consuming less than a quarter of the cals i supposedly need to survive ~ all i ever think about is food.....this is hell :(

  • if i was you- i'd eat 1 or 2 of the followin(in small portions): oatmeal (no more than 2cups), grain bar, century tuna w/ brown rice (no more than a cup of rice), 2-3 boild eggs witout yolk, 1cup coffee w/ milk, 2 cups of spaghetti (sauce made frm scratch - fresh tomatoes wit lotsa spices, etc. The key heres to cook things frm scratch, never buy fast food, eat fish as your meat & love your oatmeal! P.S.-black pepper and cinamon are great spices in losing weight; adds flavor to your foods aswell...

  • ooh yum..

  • You are brave to make this video, and I think a lot of you for it. You're a beautiful lady, and I know you'll have success in your weight loss efforts.

  • Sounds like your right about the denial... I find that when I eat similar sorts of rubbish food I'm hungry after an hour or two no matter the portion size - that's because your bloodsugar levels yo-yo ! if you eat more raw vegetables, more brown bread and rice, more lean protein ect. your body will be able to regulate your hunger automatically. Your body needs more fiber and good nutrition - treat it well :)

  • This was really insightful. I've been trying to lose weight too and I notice that my weight moves up and down a lot. Sometimes I think I eat less than I actually do too!! Good luck on your endeavors!!! :)

  • dw i binged 5000 calories and im still underweight, just mega excercise the next day <3

  • @Blaopink So you're an exercise bulimic... It only sounds good.

  • I admire your transparency. I completely understand your struggle, as I too am facing a similar one. It's boring and easy to forget to keep a food journal, but in my own experience, it has been so useful as a tool to keep me mindful of my eating. So clever that you used the recorder. It seems to have given you some insight as to what you actually consume in a day. Anyway, be encouraged. Each bit of knowledge you gain is a bit more ammunition you can use to attack your food issues. :)

  • Wow u have all that food in a day I don't even have half that

  • Comment removed

  • I like the idea of recording what you eat and keeping track of the calories until you gain the kind of perspective you describe here. It's good to be open and honest about it. I think some people (like, uh, me sometimes) are afraid to admit just how much they're capable of eating in a sitting.

  • I think you should stop worrying so much about calories and focus more on eating whole unprocessed foods. If you eat a diet of natural foods you simply won't be able to eat 5,000 calories in a day, and likely won't be hungry for even 3000 unless you exercise intensely. Feel free to message me if you want more info, but if I were you I'd focus on eating whole unprocessed foods instead of calorie counting.

  • @frodosauce this guy is so right, when i used to binge i'd be more focused on the calories but now that i'm focusing more on nutritional content and whole, unprocessed foods, i naturally eat way less and am rarely concerned about the calorie content.

  • If you go to trader joes try their bruschetta. its delicious and healthy on some bread with some olive oil

  • @supershuu WOW you have serious problems...

  • If want i know a soup diet u can loose 100 pounds in six months message if u need it

  • @MrChahade why would you want to eat soup for 6 months?! I've lost 60lbs in 5 months and I ate really good, nutritious and tasty foods!

  • @MrChahade Don't do crappy diets like that, once you stop eating soup you'll just gain all the weight back.

  • @supershuu

If you didn't care, why even respond to my comment?

I bet your life is pretty miserable.

Anyways, have a good one. I sure won't be responding to anymore of your comments since you're pretty much a loser.

  • @supershuu

    You're such a pathetic human.

Good job intentionally being an asshole.

  • @supershu seriously? Don't watch thus if your just gunna call her that and I'm pretty sure that she is awear

  • I hope you are doing better at your healthy living. You are an intelligent, lovely woman please dont give up. I find I keep a weight loss calander on my fridge and as the pounds go I write it down. This has helped me. I also do the Wii fit and once you start loosing weight you become more focused. Good luck

  • God some comments on this video are kinda dumb. Do you think she needs telling that she needs more fruit and veg, more fibre, more protein, less sugar, etc? This is common knowledge - pretty much everyone in the Western world knows the basics of nutrition. The problem is not what she's eating, but WHY she's turning to food and eating so much in the course of one day. Jenni - I wish you the best of luck during your time inpatient :)

  • My daily limit is 120. today i snacked on ice cubes in lemon juice. But now i really want red velvet ice cream.

  • Ahh I ate 4000 calories yesterday and wouldn't have even known it if I hadn't have just started keeping a food diary. I can sympathize with this so much, even though I'm more or less bulimic: I still eat a ridiculously high amount of calories when I'm in a b/p cycle.

Wish you the best with all this. It takes courage to share.

  • I can't stop drinking dr.pepper..... I can drink 4 cans everyday and still want more, My body has gotten so used to the sugar intake it doesn't make me hyper anymore or effect me, If I DON'T drink it, I will get headaches, extremely dizzy, and start shaking I just can't lower my intake DX......

  • @MovieChannels

I'm addicted to Dr. Pepper, too. I probably drink even more than that on a bad day. I've probably even drank over a gallon in one day before.

  • i wake up to my day when you eat 3000 calories... i really need to adjust my day

  • never eat sweets cut out all sweets and pop eat real food like green beans potatos you know the good stuff

  • do you live alone? when i started uni and moved from my parents house i had no one to talk to all the time and i felt so lonely that i would sit in front of the tv and snack to pass the time and not feel the emptiness of the house.. i learned how to deal with that but not before gaining good weight which now i'm struggling to lose. so if you live alone, consider that as a threat to your eating habits and try to stay busy with something that doesn't involve food or something, that might help

  • it's not just the food you eat that's bad.. your portions are way too big.

  • Try eating protein & fiber. It will fill you up. Oh um ever hear of lil things called fruit & veggies ;)

  • WOW! What an eye opener...You have inspired me to track the food that I eat... even if its just for a day... thanks for the update! hope to hear from you soon :)

  • bless you for posting these ids, Ive been dealing with food addiction for some time now. I lost over 100 pounds 7 -8 years ago and kept it off until the last yr and half. I have gone from 140 to 180 this day. I'm scared I'm loosing control once again. I am attempting water fast for 30 days beginning to midnight tonight. I feel this will help me gain control once again. but I'm scared I will faultier I will be posting a video tomorrow

  • Been watching your vids for a while, I applaud you for putting yourself out there. By no means do I have the answer for you. I have been on a journey to lose weight and be a healthy and can tell you the best way to start is "cold turkey" I mean jump in and go all out. I have heard you say several times you want to start slow, but really cutting yourself off is how you begin to recover from any addiction, and that's what this is. Not saying it will be perfect or easy but it is a starting place.

  • Comment removed

  • @redcloud7238 To elaborate, I am not suggesting a strict diet for life, that obviously will never work. I mean a short period of time where you body can re-set. Right now you are so addicted to sugar that eating even a little sugar will cause you to overeat it. The emotional healing will begin as the weight comes off. Often bringing up other issues, but this is the process.

  • Ahhh, I would have been so with you on the pint of ice cream! Tracking with the recorder is a great idea, I for one would be too lazy to transpose it to paper or the computer. Now if the recorder could transfer voice data into written word, i would think it is the greatest thing ever. Holding yourself accountable by recording is a great eye opener!

  • @sweetmarie11663 well, I am sure that if you are a big girl, there WAS a day when you were consuming 5000 calories, that is how you got to be "a big girl".... what I am trying to say is she recognizes what she does, that is how we change what we do... I had to respond to your comment... it lacks.... COMPASSION. have a great day.

  • You have guts to do that tracking & you should be proud of yourself. why? becuz no guts, no glory you have opened your eyes. you know now what U are doing to yourself. knowledge is power. use that power to get healthy. begin to think about what kind of calories those are, all the grease, sugar, etc that goes into you. you deserve better than that, YES you really do! treat your body as you would if you had a child & U want to give THE best to that child, not posion aka sugar fat etc.praying for U

  • have you ever tried carrots with spices on them :-)

It's tast realy good and you get kinda like the same crunching as chips :-)

  • <<< stands up and applauds you. Well done for tracking what you eat - and for sharing it with us. It's not an easy thing to do. I track my calories every single day (yawn!). I've lost lots of weight and have managed to maintain the loss but still binge every now and then (up to 9,000 cals in one sitting) - then spend hours in the gym to get rid of it. If ONLY food didn't taste so good. Grrrr.

Anyway - keep it up - being aware of your calorie intake is useful.

    Hugs from Scotland :)

  • You're recording method is a fantastic idea! And I see what you mean about not realizing that you are taking in that many calories- I do the same thing. I guess the key is to be choosing different things. If you are hungry then eat, but eat an apple or something. Thats what we SHOULD do, but what we end up choosing to do is another matter.

Keep up the good work thought - overcomming denial is the first step to recovery -right? :-)

  • That took a lot to make this video I am sure..you are doing some significant things (like recording what you are eating) and you're not ignoring the problem. I applaud you for that (because there are many people who would rather not think about it).

Saying a prayer for you. Keep at it - you will win this battle. :)

Love your videos - you are such a neat person! I love to hear your ideas and thoughts.
