I loved loved LOVED this movie. My Mom is battling cancer right now. She has stage 4 liver & colon. I dunno if that's why this movie was great for me... I'm sure it helped it resonate with me, either way it's a great movie. Oh, and "new pherexia" is a Magic The Gathering thing. It's a run of cards for that game. X Men First Class and Thor, because I really didn't think that you could pull an Xavier with McAvoy nor a sky kingdom without being childish looking, but both turned out being very good. And Mission Impossible. I thought that Renner would be the movie and not Tom Cruise that much because he's almost 50, but they were like equals and I really liked that. All 3 had awesome stories and backgrounds.

Sounds like a pretty interesting movie. I totally agree about cancer and how it can happen to absolutely anybody. Smoking etc of course all raise susceptibility of cancer and other ailments but who it actually ends up happening to is quite random. The whole uncertainty of it makes it pretty unsettling for a lot of people to think about

I cried my eyes out at the part were the doctor was giving him the anesthesia at the end, it was a really intense scene, i think everybody can relate to that feeling of being put to sleep and not knowing if you'r gonna come back. As for the movie, words can't describe how good and amazing it was, i was either laughing my as off, or crying my eyes out through out the whole thing, it really makes you realize and appreciate what you have in life, i would recommend everybody to watch this movie!!!

The beginning you were thinking "that looks like Seattle"? It was really obviously Vancouver, at least to people who live here (it showed 3 of our major landmarks), to the point that when he shouted in that super tense scene "I'VE NEVER EVEN BEEN TO CANADA" (which he shouted while parked in Stanley Park, the background a view of Vancouver's skyline) our entire theatre burst out laughing and totally killed the mood.
