@Meade556 $145 ha ha ha..There is people that get up to $700. I understand if some people need it. But, their is ton of people don’t need it. Their just lazy. I see them in Wal-Mart buying the good stuff and driving away in a NEW car. Giving their card to immigrants to buy sh!t with it. Taking money out of an ATM to buy beer or cigarettes. I was a wel-fair kid, my mom could not work and still can't. She lives off her $600 SS. Their frauders.

@719robbie81005 Yeah with families and people on $1400 barely, barely make ends meet, so $700 is hardly, hardly generous, as for New cars, somehow I doubt that, given that $700 a month in this day and age is really not enough to buy a new car, much less anything else and as for immigrants, you want a stop to that it would be better to give more money to OSHA because they are the ones who crack down on illegals in the workplace.

@Meade556 Now you’re not thinking straight. You forget that other people that leavening their and bring in 1000 to 2000 with that $700. So they can afford nice cars and great stuff. I have seen it and I turn in those people for FRAUD. Also the jerks get housing too. I be leave in the people that work hard and earn their paychecks. We are the people that get screwed from the lazy and rich people. I leave off 1400 to 1600 a month. It’s had some times. I have a roof, food and clothes 4 my family.

@719robbie81005 $700 a month then would be UI, not welfare and on $2700 a month, that is $32,400, or not enough to buy a new car, after deducting, taxes, food, transport and other miscellaneous expenditures. In France, Germany and Britain everyone gets Govt housing, so people on UI getting it is hardly radical or living high on the hog. Now big corporations (according to the IRS and the Swiss Govt) not paying 1.2 trillion in taxes to the Treasury over the past decade?

@Meade556 Are we talking about France and Britain? If so I don’t care...I worry about what’s going on in the USA. You keep forgetting that 80% of welfare people do not us their food stamps to feed their kids or their self’s. They use it to buy drugs, alcohol and clothing and so on. They also get other assistance through the govt as well. Mean while the guy that is leaving with them for free and can buy a new car, new TV ECT. Yes there are people that use it for what’s it is intended.

@719robbie81005 Where you got that statistic I cannot imagine, my point is out country has the least extensive, most anaemic welfare state in the developed world, we do not need to savage it any furher and again, the simple logistics of what you describe are not possible. Food stamps cannot be traded in for drugs because you can only use foodstamps at food stores

In liquor store, any where that has an ATM machine. @Meade556 CONT: We the people should not rely on are govt. We becoming weak and we need to focus on the future. Soon the USA will not be a free country. Every one relying on the govt. Look at other countries, we need to be a strong independed people to rely on your self’s. Govt should just be there to lend a helping hand, when we fall on hard times. It should not be a source of living and not to be abused. People need to manage their money. I make 38,000 year and I manage fine.

@719robbie81005 Most people on welfare are not making that and we have a crisis of epic proportions here in the United States with 51 million people relying on charity, private and public to feed themselves, some are starving. Besides this fear you voice only crops up everytime a Democrat is in office, like immigration, even though Clinton and Obama were tougher on Immigration than Bush

To help pay for bills ha ha ha...You dont get jacked to pay your bills...I had to sell my stuff to keep food and a roof over my family house. Benifits are crapy and do not support you or your family in any way. So I hope the REP's do change this FECA and OWCP to be better.
