The Express Gate is a very good thing. On Vista the Power 4 Gear is working, and the PC is quiet when i'm surfing on the internet. If I start the linux with Express Gate, the fans of my notebook are very noisy, what is disturbing me. It would be good, if you can fix that problem, because that idea of fast booting linux is very good.

Agreed....Microsoft Sam could do a better job. When you hire live speakers, it's for them to sound alive..not like robots.

the lack of options is part of it's strength. Nobody's pretending to be a full OS.

the whole point of this OS is that it boots in about 5 to 10 seconds and takes up less than 512MB, and it's stored on the motherboard not your computer's regular hard drive so there's no wasted hard drive space. It's perfect if you just turned your computer on just to browse the net or talk on skype.

this is the best thing i ever seen in a mobo. using free technologies, asus implemented the "online desktop", without any user configuration. those guys are the bests...

Why should they? This is a commercial for Asus, not free software. Nowhere in the GNU public license is it written that you must mention the use of free software that your product is built upon in a commercial. Do Mac commercials mention that OS X's kernel is built on FreeBSD?
