Without more information, I'm not sure if you installed the part correctly. It is possible that you put the part on backwards. If you did, it will not hold the retainer in place properly. Please send us a picture and we will take a look and try to get the problem solved for you.
I ordered the part, followed the directions carefully. I brought my laptop into the garage so I could do that. The hardest part was getting the retainer rings onto the part. After putting everything back in place, the trunk would open, but the fuel door did not. I am disappointed. What did I do wrong?
