  • did I hear right? to paraphrase: "how little can we get by giving this man (20 rupies, 30

    ?"

  • where can i get one :(

  • What cheap women. Paying 20 rupees!!$#@#$%@#. In the US you would pay $20 to watch a potter. Cheap sluts.

  • @yapi85 - whoooaaaaa....

  • well done..

  • "traditional" would be a much better word than "primitive"

  • @Lisanab - EXACTLY! CHANGE "primitive" please. It's quite arrogant.

  • looks like so much fun, but it's so hard

  • This guy is getting it done with the absolute basics! Good Job.

  • just shows- there's more than one way to skin a cat !!

  • Great throwing by a hand that has done a lot of it . Thanks for the clip. Yours Guy

  • Wow...I feel inadequate, struggling (griping all the while) with my kick wheel.

  • I kinda resent how the title of this video is listed as "primitive" pottery wheel.

  • "primitive |ˌprɪmɪtɪv|

    adjective

    - relating to, denoting, or preserving the character of an early stage in the evolutionary or historical development of something

    - of or denoting a simple, direct style of art that deliberately rejects sophisticated artistic techniques"

"Primitive" is an adjective, not a judgement.

  • thanks for the clarification Shas.

  • @shas1814 - it IS meant judgmental. That's typical of Westerners. Looking down on others always.

  • @shanna1950 Well, YOU are certainly being judgmental. Try using a dictionary. "Primitive" means earlier in the development of something. This is a primitive pottery wheel, whether you like that word or not. My family lives a primitive sort of life in the mountains of western Canada. We like it that way. But we do have good educations and we know how to use a dictionary.
  • @shas1814 - with apologies. English is not my mother-tongue. And in my language primitive is meant in a very negative way.

  • That's cool and simple.

  • Thank goodness for electric wheels!!!!

  • looks extremely uncomfortable

  • wow!
