What's the name of that tune. I remember if from Dancing England in 1993 but not a clue what it's called......what happened to all those ladies who were dancing with him/it/her??
@silverdalesapphires It's made up of a number of tunes - Joe the Boat is Going Over, Minehead Johnny (better known as Dixie) and Soldiers Joy. I think you may be confusing the dancing ladies with Padstow Hobby Horse. There is an official Minehead Hobby Horse website for more info.
Its a great video!!! We have often commented on the lack of an apostrophe but it seems traditional not to use one. Perhaps from lack of formal learning but more likely it just doesnt look good - too prissy - Jim
