Ron Swoboda was my childhood hero and I wore his #4 when I also played right field in H.S. I think this video may be from the same Spring Training that I had my pic taken with Swoboda and also got autographs by Carter, HoJo and Swoboda on the same ball.
I will never forget when Ron Swoboda sat down at our table at his old Dugout restaurant circa 1969. He gave this kid a real treat. He was enjoying a glass of "grapejuice"; not his first either.
I gave this video a closer look and now see Rocky at the far left, a few pound heavier and sporting a goatee. Carter is in the middle. I assume you are on the far right?
Nahhh, no apology necessary! Rocky is a great guy. Was worth the price of Fantasy Camp just to sit there and listen to the two of them talk baseball!!
It sure is... This was taken at Mets Fantasy Camp in January of 2006. Ron Swoboda was one of the coaches and Gary Carter was a special one day guest. I had the honor and pleasure of sitting with them during a game because unfortunately my back went out the first day of games! LOL!
