  • i tought world record 200m breaststroke last one 2.07 something hows that 2.02 :S

  • Damn that's fast... 2:02.9 for 200 Meters... insane.

  • Comeback alert- have a look at split time on swimming world, Ed's back in the pool. Summer nationals is going to be great!!!

  • @palmyarmyswim Came here to post this! Can't wait to see him swim again.

  • Comment removed

  • kitajima wasn't screaming like an idiot after that one

  • I think that it will be hard for Daniel Gyurta and Christian Sprenger to break this record without swimsuit.

  • you know this swim is the shit when it takes 5 and a half years plus technology to break this record.

  • shit look at that dough

  • Gutted! Ed's 200 brst world record was erased last night in the 200. Still the best brst swim ever!!! with no dol kick off the turns and no hi tec suit

  • Let me guess... Van der Burgh right?

God, I wonder what would be Ed's time if he wore one of those shiny suits and did the butterfly kick. For me, this is still the best breaststroke swim ever, and Ed is still the best.

  • omg.... look at 1:22 the guy who are the most close from the carmera... his starting was really awesome- -''

  • how can it be awesome when he comes up a body length behind...he should get into diving

  • i watch this before every practice!

it gives me motivation, so do MP!

  • 5 years and none can take the record down! even with the butterfly kick underwater... Amazing.

  • the song: electric light orchestra - showdown

  • Stockoholm and Berlin were part of the USSR????? Ooohh RRrreally?????? LMAO

  • that song gets stuck in your head so easily!

  • I would like some more videos too, best all time breaststroker

  • the song?

  • ed moses is the one swimmer i would die to have walk on my pooldeck, his goswim technique video is the best brst one around. 2.02 what a machine of a swim-just imagine his uw's with the recent dol kick addition. any other ed videos would be greatly appreciated!

  • i just met him!!

  • why ed retired so soon? i kind he actually 28 years and u know i wish see him in a pool again he is a great guy

  • i think 2004 Olympic trials hurt him a bit, he didn't perform too well. He was diagnosed with asthma in 2003 i think, but he said in the 04 olympic trials the pool(long beach) was too colerainenated and it affected his breathing. Then he came back at the World Championship trials and missed out and got 4th in the 100m Breaststroke. He then decided to quit and play Golf.

  • But there has been some results from 2005-08 of him swimming 50M Short Course at some meets. Him still swimming 27 lows to highs which is still pretty amazing for some one that doesn't train

    :S :)

  • amazing breaststoker tho he did well and inspires a lot of us still today

    wd Ed

  • well 28 years is not late to retire from swimming casper.. the best age is around 25 with indivudual aspects

  • true dat

  • Forget Phelps, Crocker, Lochte, Piersol and all the others.

    Moses was the king.

His 200 breaststroke was the best swim EVER - that is for no discuss.

Think about if he had still swam when the rule with flykick in breaststroke was acceptet? Further faster than 2.02.92? :O :O

  • glad to see there are intelligent people awt there, so true this, Moses is a legend.

  • moses is fantastic!

  • Moses is simpely the best breaststroker ever.

Hansen is better at longcourse, but 2.02.9 on shortcourse is incredible!

  • strongest mens world record, will stand for years. no one hardly ever goes 2.05, 2.02 just awesome.

  • I'm going to beat your record Ed Moses! That's my goal of my career. Only 27 seconds remaining, but atleast 10 years ahead since I'm only 15.. But keep an eye on the Tv ;)

  • you would happen to come from america would you??

  • I got a mail this was a reply to me - well no I'm actually from Sweden, and by now I've done 2:28.7 in long course (50m), so I would be able to hit 2:23.xx, probably capable of going down at 2:21.xx to this winter's Swedish Youth Champs.. We'll see, one thing is sure I'm getting closer to my goal - as they say nothing is impossible :)

  • You are too awesome moses!

  • video doesnt work :(

  • moses ur my idol! im working on my b-stroke im från sweden and 18 years old! any possibility to contact u?

  • how did u get all of tht money and how much was it

  • Prize money. At international events they pay out prize money in cash. Just makes all of the tax issues easier. In this case 50,000 for a world record.

  • very cool

  • i wanna know who sings this song

  • The track is "showdown", by Electric Light Orchestra

  • best of the best alwais
