you should watch that dvd, it may have better info how to thread it and also how to use it. I got a new computerized singer 6160 with dvd and it helped me out alot watching the dvd. also when you buy new bobbins make sure you get the class it uses, probably the new class 15, the old class 66 is smaller and wont work as well if it fits to loose.
