  • I love killing deer. Barnes makes good stuff!

  • Very nice, i have a 7mm 08 my dad bought for me.

  • That was a nice shot, what make of rifle did you shoot with? Was that a hand load?

    Where in NZ was this?

  • f@ckin poll axe it

  • will be funny if the deer video tape you getting shot too,

  • Firstly dumbass- you have appalling ability with spelling and constructing a sentence, secondly your knowledge of animals is lacking- you may find that a deer might just struggle to operate a video camera. Thirdly I am picking you are the sort of homo that would have your right ear pierced. Please correct me if I am wrong

  • @steve7mm08 ok your wrong...muhahahahaha...

  • @1therambo

Okay I just watched one of your videos and saw a mincy fagg with his right ear pierced and thought it must be you. Cheers

  • @steve7mm08 cheer coolguy...cool

  • @1therambo Rambo my ass. Nancy dear why I think I hear your mother calling for more lamingtons.

  • Great Shot !

  • LMAOOOO @ the deer shot between 0:11-0:13, that was hilarious how it fell over!! LMAOOO

  • that deer was not getting up again

  • beautiful shot

  • Thats how pretty much every deer i've shot with my 7-08 has dropped, I usually used 140 cor lokts, wish I hadn't sold it, it's an excellent little round

  • that my friends is called "hydrostatic shock"

  • what brand of gun you using

  • How many meters was that shot at

  • I never ranged it with the rangefinder but it was around 90-100 metres

  • i shot a deer the other day but I had shoot him like 5 times b4 he went down... i was using a .38 caliber revolver... thats why

  • excellent shot, gotta love those Barnes.

  • what was the 2 shoot for?

  • go the 7mm08, i have a Sako 7mm08 they are a wicked caliber

  • Well done! I head over to South island NZ in four weeks. Looking for Chamois. Have a Rem 700 Titanium specially for the hills in .308. Bought some Barnes TSX for it but they are 150 grainers. AWhat do you reckon about that bullet weight on a smallish animal like Chamois??

    Regards. L

  • I havent tried them in that weight/ calibre so can't really help, put it this way you will not be undergunned thats for sure!

  • Yep 2high/spine shot !

They drop when you break the bag, regardless of what bullet/caliber etc

  • Youre a dumbass. He is actually a she but you a right it is an animal.

Its head was left to rot but all its yummy meat fed our family and friends for some time.

Take your head out of your arse :)

  • Hey ten8goa, go choke on a carrot.

  • @PompaTG id prefer if he choked on a revolver

  • @jacobdb12 man! what is with you guys and being anti-hunting and being rude. If youve got a rude opinion that no one else wants to hear, keep it to yourself and shut up completely instead of being negative about things. why do you shit heads look things up, just to leave a bitchy comment on it. youve got youre own opinion about it, so keep it to yourself.

  • @ten8goa u just sound like the biggest FAGGOT ever!

  • @ten8goa what's amazing is you liberals are so anti-hunting, but yet going to McDonald's and eating chicken and hamburger that is full of hormones/anti-biotics and was caged/fenced all its short life is okay...

  • good stuff mate

  • looks like a spine shot. How far away was he?

  • i was thinking bout 130grn tsx for 308

  • hey iv been thinking bout trying the barns tsx an after watchen that i think i will have u had any game get away afta being sho0t with a tsx??

  • I have had game run a short distance with noslier and hornady. (sub 50 yards) but with barnes every deer has droped on the spot bar 1 which went about 10 yards. they are deadly. and accurate.

  • Yep, they are a fine bullet. I have found the 120 grain to be perfect for NZ game animals

  • how do they do on big stupp like wapiti and red stags?

I'd love a remington seven in 7mm-08, only problem might be getting the ammo....

  • i love the barnes bullets in my 7mm08 also cant be beat i use the 140 and46.5 grain of h380 and also use im my 8mm mauser with the 200 grain tsx bullets. and that was a awsome shot u made by the way

  • i am now using 120 grain barnes tsx behind 42.1 grains of adi ar2208 sounds a little under loaded but with thoes perlers comming out of the barrel and the majority of my shots within 100 yards the odd one out to 200 the deer realy dont notice it. good shot by the way.

  • looks like you hit High, A spine Shot. What was the distance.

  • Around 100 yards, alot of people on a hunting forum I use commented that it looked like a high spine shot. In actual fact it was pretty central on the shoulder. Never looked like going anywhere thats for sure!

  • gotta love those barnes bullets i use them in all my guns

  • why did you shoot twice?

  • I shot another deer, barely visible in bottom left corner, forgot to move the camera!

  • nice shot, great killer in the 7mmo8 (i use them too).

  • Good shot man. where were you hunting.

i use barnes tsx 140grn in my 7mm-08 backed

by 48grns of ADI AR 2209. good at close range but my next lot are going to be 120 grns. what are you using

    in your loadout.

  • 45grain AR2209. Great little bullet. Public land South Island, cheers

  • oops I meant ADI2208

  • what range bud?

  • 100-120yds, not too far at all

  • Niiicceee! Good clean kill!
