Torch is the general name of the device, 9800 is the model number, and OS6 is the operating system. OS6 is just the software that runs on the device.

@fthebest I have the 9780 atm, im very impressed with this, the phone will do anything you want and them some, but recently im looking at trading for a torch.simply because i miss the soft- touch screen keyboard that my iphone provided. Believe it or not its alot more convenient using a soft-touch keyboard than a physical keyboard. the Torch 9800 and the bold 9780 are basicly the same phone, with the physical differences aside

@hollisterstar07 its similar, takes the same headphone jack, has an excellent speaker, but you would have to buy a memory card if you wanted it to hold any significant amount of songs and still run at normal speeds

Nice video. But in one point you are simply wrong! Since BB OS5 you don't need the Google Sync App any more - if you add your Gmail Account as a eMail account you can activate "sync contacts and calendar" from there! Just as easy as on android!

I even tried to use telenav service until it was fixed but that didn't work either. They should have made sure phone worked 100% before selling to the public.
