well, take a look at that interview please. maybe he has changed but at that time they discussed, they said what I already said below.. personally I don't find hellhammer that great drummer either, if you listen to Mayhems song 'Silvester Anfang' for instance, you can hear that he is trigging alot and that is not ok, I mean it's ok to trig base drums and stuff where you get tired if you play fast but c'mon... just listen..

Shame on Hellhammer? For all you assholes with no appreciation for beautiful musicians, my husband and I had the pleasue of meeting and talking with Hellhammer. Aside from everything else that we discussed, Hellhammer said one thing to me that removes any merit or credit from the comment below; simply out, Hellhammer says that "if it's good, it's good", and to limit yourself as a musician only dooms any integrity you have as a musician in this ever expanding genre.
