Yeah, what you said about Hinnigan is on the money. I THINK he played this on a quena -- I could be wrong -- and I think he played the Titanic theme "Hymn to the Sea" on a Chieftain Bnat, though.

C2 E2 etc. means that note must be played on the second octave

This not the common usage.

C2 means C during twice the time. For high notes, use lowercase : c e

for lower notes, use , : C, E, for very high notes, use ' : c' e'.

ABC notation has been standardized for human and computer usage ...

Really good, just a bit too much reverb. You play tin/low whistle and recorder for a long time ?

"... a bit too much reverb" - I know. Low whistle I got for polish whistle maker three months ago. I play on tin whistle one year and recorder 8 years. I adore these instruments.Low whistle has specific sound. And someone got me a question: who played in Titanic, Braveheart whistles? The answer is Tony Hinnigan for me is the best whistle (movie) player.
