Recently I found out about this Brazilian kid who served with the 173rd airborne rangers in 1970 at LZ English. His name was John Knaus and he KIAed only 5 days before he rotated back to the world! He didnt have to go on that patrol or even walk point but he wanted to get the job done! He served with another ranger whose biography I will translate into portuguese. His name is Bart Stamper. my deepest respect to all you guys!
