As an animal scientist I can say that what you see in this video is at the very extreme end of the cruelty spectrum. Most research with animals, even the fairly unpleasant varieties, is/are quite a bit more humane than this.
I live near this lab and had no idea they used dogs! I once delivered a parcel there and asked while I was there if they used animals and was told only rodents were used.I wonder how many local people know of this.....I will tell everyone I can. i am sure the people of Ledbury will be shocked!

I think that if you love animals you should also stop eating at least mass-industry meat because they live and die horrible too.
And it's so easy to buy products that are not tested on animals. Some people don't do it is because it's a bit more expensive or they just ignore, deny or don't care enough, don't want to spend too much energy buying them when it's not in their local supermarket.
These are the lucky few dogs who are saved from the thousands and thousands who live and die horrible.
I got some room left in my animalshelter where animals stay forever, and used to adopt severe cases. I defenitely want to help some of these animals and give them a good home.

I shared this video on facebook to spread awareness of animal abuse to my friends and I hope from there, that they likewise continue to share it to spread awareness. I thought circuses were bad enough, but I think that this stuff, is even worse. This is not what God intended for us humans to do to His creations. I do hope that whenever they get their comeuppance that God judges them harshly and condemns them to eternal suffering in the afterlife for their cruel and sadistic treatment of animals.

What truly breaks my heart is they are so terrified because of what they have been through. But once a kind hand is shown them, they are literally starving for more love. No animal should have to endure this. Humans have become the animals & monsters. We treat animals all over the planet as if they are nothing. This wasn't the way God intended for it to be,& I pray every day these evil monsters will have to answer to Him in a BIG WAY and burn for all eternity in pain like they have inflicted.
Too often I am unable to sleep thinking of these animals. I rescue animals from crummy kennels and neglectful owners ... but this is unconscionable. Does it do any good to write to Congressmen? What does it take to shut these places down? I want a list of companies that use animals in testing. I'll publish it and do everything possible to broadcast boycott of their products.
All the popular brands, every one on the commercials, Loreal, Suave, Pantene, Secret, Clorox, stuff like that, tests on animals.
At Kroger where i live, the KISS MY FACE brand doesn't test on animals, and they have some great brands that are totally vegan and don't test. its usually organic nature stuff you never hear of. just look on the back :) it usually has a Rabbit logo and says "this product contains no animal products, and does not test on animals".
I had the sound up on this and my dogs went crazy. Hackels up , barking, on the defence. These people should be charged with Animal Cruelty and face heavy penelties. They should under NO CIRCUMSTANCES be protected by the Medical and Scientific world that they hide behind! They are a disgrace, are disgusting and need to be exposed again and again and again!
