  • i found a rubber ring that was round and i added a crystal i made and glued it on with gorilla super glue

  • This is awful technique. why would you form the metal into a ring shape twice? Additionally you generally don't want to put the piece of solder underneath the joint that you're soldering. It's better to let gravity do it's thing.

  • 240p.. We meet again

  • Please, do not tell about this video to Sauron.

    Thank you.

  • How many of you have made a vidio departing some of your knowledge to some one else? I know I haven't. That was great! Thank you. What sort of metal did you use?

  • Comment removed

  • simple provided if you have the tools ... =3=

  • @Kaishioukun Everyone has a sword laying around...

  • Wow... I'll just grab my sword and flame gun and get right to work on this easy to make... simple ring.

  • @drsims3gp dont forget to solidair

  • A permanent pen?

    just saii permanent marker

  • Her English is fine, as long as you use this handy translation guide: will=(nothing) string=wire, sword=saw, solider=solder, homogenic=uniform, straighten=flatten, sides=ends, burn=heat, burner=torch, hammer=mallet. :)

  • a sword.....r u kidding me??

  • Solid ering WTF

  • @MileyXCyrusX123 just a flame thrower!! get one at walmart

  • Be nice people. She owes no one a thing, she offered her free lesson as best she could at that time. FYI there is no simple way to make a smooth gold band w ith kitchen tools . But it is easy to sit at home and make snarky comments about videos. Those that can, do, those that can't try to be funny at the expense of others.

  • take the string and cut with the sword

  • @MileyXCyrusX123 well i use a simple refillable gas burner as used in kitchen to make creme buele im not a cook tho but thats what it says on it when you buy it it works really good but the lady in the vid shuld get her learners money back shes not to hit the ring after its melted together coude it changes size after the hitting instead roll it down the sizer pin in a roll hole

  • i better go and buy a ring like this one for 2 dollars

  • *pulls out sword* time to cut the string

  • I HAD ALL THIS STUFF JUST LYING AROUND MY HOUSE! GEE THANKS 5minStudio! I NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS WITHOUT YOU! I cant believe i just had a fucking blow torch just sitting around, NOT making rings all this fucking time! What the fuck is this shit.

  • it puts the lotion on its skin...

  • Who the fuck has acid sitting around their god damn house? Seriously, what the fuck is this.

  • @preshimmortal vinigar is also an acid . i use it a lot to get calsium of stuff and polish things up

  • USE THAT SWORD!

  • @dean120028 I was just like did she say sward?

  • hmmm, that is soooo easy! THANKYOU! wait... I just need to get all the tools. -.-

  • LOL OH ya soooo simple lol

  • ... and with the sword, we will cut the metal...

    Solidaire.

  • I have an easier way, get a piece of Stainless steel tube, and cut some off.

  • I like your idea better ha

  • Combine...

    String?

    Sword???

  • solider?

  • solider

  • Even more smothleier. Lol

  • not to be a downer to anyone or seem like a pessimist but, is there a way to make a ring without all those electrical appliances and etc.? and not a wire ring....

  • @78violetfantic

in short, if you have a butane torch from your local hardware, a ring mandrel (ebay), some silver sheet and a hammer, yes

  • @TheJessiebean, thanks!

  • oh yeah..reaaallly easy!!

  • Roundingning. LOL.

  • You did a good job. Thank you for sharing it. It makes a good tutorial.

  • this chick is dumb

  • Doesn't even know half the correct names of the tools, let alone pronunciation or the ability to see how many tools are needed to make the so called ring.

A true ring is cast, not profile formed from wire.

  • i made a ring in a millwright course i took once we used a stainless steel 1 1/4 nut and used a lathe to cut a 7/8 increase through it (also to remove tapped threads) used a pedistal grinder to smoothe the verts off the outside body making it round and used several suffing discs on a hand grinder. i also like your tool for sanding the interior but we use a larger version called a die grinder. all in all i like your method its much easier. all in all the ring i made took about 8 hours :D

  • Its easier than this video shoes; simply cut the steel wire with a mettal file and and the smooth the stubs and bend it to to ur figer size on a mettal beillet; viala.

  • that 'sandpaper' is called a dremel, get it right!

  • o.k.

  • it needs to be even "more smoothier"

  • hey fellow-aussie TheJessiebean,,,,,I can't believe that after 4 months of my comment people are STILL commenting on my opinion of the vid!!!......Just want you to know that I'm not quote "uptight", I was just making a funny comment!! If what I wrote was a misdemeanour, well.....I'm guilty as charged!!!....apparently some people don't seem to have a sense of humour...LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!....cheers!!! :)

  • so a jewler's saw is called a sword? and wire is called string?

  • Always good to make sure your solid-er-ing piece runs together.

  • Dude not all of us like elaborite gold rings so stfu.

  • Good video. This is exactly how you make a ring. The title says in a few simple steps, not a simple way anyone on a whim at home can make a ring. Sorry it takes more than a drill and a washer to make fine jewelery, but there you go.

The ignorance in the comments are funny. Keep them coming simple people.

  • neat, if you have all that stuff.... if not go to homedepot and buy a washer, and grind out the middle, the quality is going to be similar...

  • yur not cutting it with a freaking sword its a hack saw and thats some pretty stif string

  • Its easier to make a ring out of an old quarter than to do this idiocy. This is more of an over complicated "how to solder a circle" instruction.

  • id rather go buy one

  • Words cannot describe how much stupider I feel after watching that video...

  • TATS SOOO EASY!!!

    RITE??

    NOT

    =.=

  • @shrinkingviolet4 might be difficult if you're a fucking idiot, true. she explains it pretty decently and with video, i mean, you may not understand her accent but are your eyes fucking stupid too?

  • @itsumonihon ur rite i think im a idiot i mean maybe its just me or am i the only one in the world tat doesnt have the tools shes using to make tat ring. im not freakin gonna go to a store nd buy the fire gun shes using...who noes i might even burn myself using tat thing even if i get one

it might be easy to her buy not to me... i would like to see YOU make it in 5 minutes

  • @shrinkingviolet4 did you think you could just go out and make a ring with no tools? if you can afford the silver why can't you afford the tools? all it takes is a damn torch and a jewelers saw. i've seen jewelers saws on sale for under 10$ and you can buy small torches for under 10$ at any hardware store. you don't need a ring mandrel, you can use a stick you find outside, and everybody has a hammer available to them. only the solder and silver are hard-ish to get. go ask a jeweler for some.

  • @itsumonihon exactly must i quote u " only the solder and silver are hard-ish to get. " do u seriously think the "jeweler" will actually lend u the tools to u? IDK so!

if u think this is so damn easy..ill like to see YOU make this with ur TOOLS in 5 MINUTES nd then uploaded it on youtube just like this video

i bet u will fail so badly tat u wont even reply to me when u read this ...or even better u realize wat a idiot U r

  • @shrinkingviolet4 making a mold is even harder

  • Boy, how insensitive can people be? Is it fun to make fun of someone who obviously using english as a second language. I would like to know the ga of wire she used...who cares what she calls the tools...this is a nice simple ring.

  • this was shitty ....

  • Sword, soli-darig, lighter burner, smoothier....I feel a strange feeling of being empty after watching this video, I think I may jump out of a building.

  • use cutter wtf

  • i think u could just take a few steel BB's and then take some sparklers(fireworks) and melt them into a simple mould :P

  • waist of 5:05 minutes..

  • @Kool2009Gal whooops i mean waste

  • and make it more smoothier hahahaahahah

  • buy a key holder

  • What guage wire did you use?

  • i like it! if you want to buy an engagement ring for your girl, check out the donnaliza collection - it's affordable and looks real! Just search donnaliza on google and youll find it.

  • yea ok a few simple steps :/

  • do u know how to add a gemstone to a ring? would i have to buy a little piece to hold the gemstone? someone help me

  • am I the only one that got kinda anoied by the delayed sound

  • it look kinda hard

  • try it it's actually not

  • Thank you for the informative video, the steps for making the ring were easy to understand, you make it look so easy!

  • Jesus wept!! look at all the ignorant, uncultured people on here. These people have never met a person who's first language isn't English! One thing I know about learning Spanish or a Spanish based language is you must remember that it is very phonetic. So "soLadering" is more correct than the English pronunciation. Nobody noticed that she called the "wire" string? that's because you have no idea what you're watching! I think that many of you are just a little bit racist (much!)

  • I bet none of you (apart from the jewellers and generally knowledgeable people) knew that when you heat the metal it remains flexible even after cooling.

  • well, obviously it is more flexible when it is hot, but you can tell that it is warm, not cold.

  • Wow, a sword.... Lady, it's called a jeweler's saw!

  • Sword?

  • a sloadering piece

  • Her tools sucks!

  • were gonna give it a aroundening on the anvil! YAY

  • A SWORD?! LMAO!

  • its a nail file weirdo bitch

  • lolz sword

  • thats not a sword its a saw..ever heard of it?

  • i knew how to make a ring

please teach me how to find a bride

  • LOLOL ''SOLADARING''

  • sword???????????????? try saw

  • yes, it does take buying the materials in order to make the project. Not just have the stuff laying around your house!! Doh!

  • this is a big joke c'moin who has that stuff

  • Jewelers.

Or, you could go to a hardware store and buy a pipe soldering torch (used typically to solder pipe joints on copper pipes), some copper wire, silver solder, a file and a file card.

The plastic hammer, though, is a joke; rawhide mallet is much more reasonable and does not scar the metal at all.

  • hey great video

u can get more at donnaliza, just search donnaliza on google

  • писец. Особенно потешно было смотреть, как криворукая лохушка пилит лобзиком полторамиллиметровую проволочку)) Мультитул ей купить что ли?

  • =.= .....

As if I will have those kind of things lying around on the floor. Jesus.

  • How many languages do you know how to speak? It is easy to make these and a nice beginner project! Of course you are not going to have all the tools if you want to make rings your going to need to buy some tools.

  • yea...a 13 year old boy has access to all these tools...very simple, if your like 35 -_-

  • im 18 and have had all that stuff since my 16th so just 3 more years for you then.

  • eh well at least theres a bit more of hope :p

  • Got to admit i had to buy all that in order to study on becoming a goldsmith though haha.

  • this isnt exacly that simple

    it uses some professional tools

    and a lot of time

  • what kind of acid?

  • probably dilute hydrochloric acid

  • sodium bisulfate

In Jewelry, we call it "pickle", not "acid" as she did.

She knows what she is doing, just does not understand english pronunciation or how to translate english properly.

  • yep! everybody has a burner, a jig saw and acid lying around the house...oh! and an electric sander/buffer...so yep! ....it's easy to make a ring, guys!!! :)

  • @archangel1202

what are you, a fucking cave man? the only thing you might not have is the acid

  • @heiidagger .....um...no I don't have those things at home. I didn't know that not having a few tools lying around makes you a caveman (in my case cavewoman!!). I do have lots of screwdrivers and wires and drills, if that's what cavepeople have....otherwise I guess I need to head down to the local DIY to stock up on more tools so I can modernize myself and be more "civilized".....Derrrrrrrr. I'll just crawl back into my cave and play with a stone and maybe I could discover sth!!!. :)

  • @archangel1202 I don't have any of that stuff either. So, I guess you and I are cave people. We shall live in a cave with our computers, but theres no electricity so our computers are rendered useless. As the words from the movie "Caveman" made in '81 starring Ringo Starr our computers are "pookah"!

  • @Oilasor925 hahaha good one.....yeah but don't worry, anytime now we cavepeople will be heading into the paleolithic period and we'll discover the use of stone tools....so we are slowly evolving....next thing you know we'll have all the right tools at home to make that ring!!! :p yeah.....no worries!!

  • @archangel1202 Nice. I just hope Geico was telling the truth about us people. "It's so easy a caveman can do it". So when we discover the wheel we can have insurance.

  • @heiidagger Yeah, I don't have any of those things either, besides rings that I bought myself.

  • @archangel1202 i think u could just take a few steel BB's and then take some sparklers(fireworks) and melt them into a simple mould :P

  • @archangel1202 don't forget your sword

  • @archangel1202 wow. u r so funny. this video says how to make a ring EASILY. u r so rite!!!

  • @damiccathedesigner :)....if u r meaning i'm funny...thanks!!...glad to be able to put smiles on people's faces!!

  • @archangel1202 thts exactly what i was finking...wtf...who is gna benefit frm this?! nice try anyway

  • @archangel1202 You never know hahaha

  • @archangel1202 Lol who the heck doesn't have a jig saw and an electric sander. 3000°C torch lighter for four dollars, easy buy. Acid is the only specialty item.

  • @archangel1202 I swear I was thinking the EXACT same thing! This is NOT a simple tutorial. It would be if I had all the materials lying around or if they cost less than $50 in an arts and crafts store. *sigh*

  • @myzzio .....DITTO!!! :)

  • @archangel1202

well if your interest you will buy them like im doing, just because its not useful to YOU, dont be so uptight

  • ...sword? looks like a coping saw yo =P

  • how do you make a super bowl ring

  • The "simplicity" is in the steps and the way she demonstrates them. I appreciate her time and effort and as a novice I gained some insight into the complexity of grander jewelry's design elements. Thank you Miss!

  • bloody hell! this is NOT simple at all!!!!

  • if this is what you call simple than i am a fucking lazy lunatic

  • lol i love the way this chick talks!!! haha "give it a round... a roundening" lol good stuff

  • honestly.... instead of spending all that time getting all those tools and materials why not just go out to a .99 cents store and BUY A RING worth a dollar. LMAO then again, thats JUST MEE !!!

  • lol

  • at 0:40 "and with the SWORD we will cut"

    rofl

    :D

  • haha exactly what i was thinking

  • @natyownsyourface lol tht was hillarious :):)

  • @natyownsyourface hahahah thats what i was laughing about

  • She said the steps were simple, not the materials ;o

  • Simple if you have those things xD

  • Simple. If you happen to have metal, a metal saw, a file, a blow torch, saulder, a mandrel, a plastic hammer, a sander and...acid? lol

  • simple? wow lol

  • yeah.....simple

  • Great step by step instruction .Thank you

  • and the we take a shit

  • cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Video has good information by they need a new camera man

  • pretty desent 5/5

  • i liked it! thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • So I'm the retard, and you typed that horrendous sentence to prove that? Lol wow. "you got me good"

  • I don't think english is her first language, so she's actually struggling to come up for layman's terms in a foreign language. It's not that bad if you think of it in that way.

  • you really should wear eye protection. you could seriously injure yourself with that dremmel tool.

  • @smackky - Yeah or with the sword!

  • whu?

  • I've always wanted to make jewelry. I make rings out of guitar strings, and they look pretty snazzy. That L in solder is throwing her off.

  • this was a very informative video, just what i have been looking for! i will certainly take a look at all your others. please excuse a few ignorant and rude commenters.

  • This was so lame and boring u have a monotone voice and it was annoying juss listening to u talk for 30 seconds

  • The simple way to make a ring by measuring with the measurement

  • dont quench in acid! read your data sheets!

  • he's got a point

  • you use of vocabulary is off

  • so is yours

  • preety cool ;D

  • OK,OK 5.0

    1axvn

  • cool
