It's funny everyone is so focused on the fact the spell was changed when there's an even worse mistake somewhere else. Rin's Command Spells are not in her forearm as it was shown in the end, they were inside the palm of her right hand. Shirou comments in the VN that Rin would likely never let him see them because she always made sure to keep them out of sight (unlike Shirou's which were in the back of his hand and could be seen by everyone).
The coolest part about this spell was the fact that all his dialogue was in japanese, except the spell, which was in english. The way it was said in english sounded so great

The Fate/Stay Night dub is average, but Fate/Stay Night is more rewarding to watch in japanese.
But I am surprise that in the dub they didn't give the seven heroes accents on where they were from for example Saber a middle english accent and berserker a classic Greek accent.

ok..i'm really confused about something. archer is pretty much shown to be the strongest servant on unlimited blade works route; how come here he gets beaten by Berserker...who, in UBW, gets stomped by gilgamesh in like 10 seconds
This being the strongest servant is relative, Gilgamesh's style worked well against Berserker's, as did Archer's style work well against Gilgamesh. When it comes to raw power Berserker is always said to be the strongest during all the three paths, but in the end it all comes down to how the fight is played.... and who the autors want to win :P
Hm, the voice they chose for Archer is pretty good actually. We can't fault the VA for a script change. & on that note, *sigh* Ilya's voice is depressing.

Yeah the "english" might not be the most correct. Yet they have no right to change the official prays, created by TYPE-MOON. Even plus wen TYPE-MOON it self base's her storylines on wizards and vampires using rituals/magics/prays, they occur with a pronouce of certain words.

The scene that comes to my mind is from the ova with Chamo telling Yue to come up with her own magic chant, and the chant even in Japanese was that a perfectly structured sentence.

@Xaldin007 The hilarious thing is the changed/altered/extended aria is actually Studio Deen's fault. If you watch it in Japanese note that the Studio Deen animated *TOO MANY* mouthflaps. So much so that even the engrish in the original version doesn't match at all. When it came time to dub it they *needed* to match mouthflaps, and added words to make it work.
If fact, the only parts of the aria that are accurate in the dub are the ones you can't really see the mouth move.
I don't see the problem with it. I think they chose a good dub actor for the English version, would people have preferred another dub actor from say idk ... Naruto?

@namikazenigel Firstly here are those that do see a problem with the voice for Archer in the English dub thinking that he makes the chant sound 'emo' I have seen comments like that. His name is Liam O'Brien, and since you brought up Bleach he plays Ukitake. Also, Gaara in Naruto. He's also in Ergo Proxy, Afro Samurai, Blade of the Immortal, Descendants of Darkness, Eyeshield 21, Dual Masters, GunXSword, Code Geass, Buso Renkin, and Revolutionary Girl Utena. And that's just (most) of the ones where he had decently sized roles.
Point: it isn't that he's not prolific, it's that he actually has the talent for multiple voices.

@KyleLocke although your comment is a month old...the voice actor is actually a Naruto voice actor LOL [plays Gaara]... and most peoples beef is with the lyrics of the prayer, not the voice acting

@namikazenigel Firstly here are those that do see a problem with the voice for Archer in the English dub thinking that he makes the chant sound 'emo' I have seen comments like that. Secondly I referenced Naruto because I personally believe that the English voices chosen for the 'main' characters just don't fit correctly

I only just realized that Archer's English dub voice, is from the same VA as the guy who plays Lezard Valeth in Valkyrie Profile 2! :O I think he also does Gaara in Naruto!

I dare say, I am not real big on english dub yelling... but the rest of this kicked ass. They turned the off (english during jap) into something colorful, props for doin a good job.
Also, thanks to Ember for puttin this up. :3 I was looking to hear the prayer and I found it!

I myself think this regular engrish version is great, dunno why everybody picks on it... there's like one of two major mistakes... I think it add some 'magic' to it, speaking in another language :P

His name is Liam O'Brien, and since you brought up Bleach he plays Ukitake. Also, Gaara in Naruto. He's also in Ergo Proxy, Afro Samurai, Blade of the Immortal, Descendants of Darkness, Eyeshield 21, Dual Masters, GunXSword, Code Geass, Buso Renkin, and Revolutionary Girl Utena. And that's just (most) of the ones where he had decently sized roles.
Point: it isn't that he's not prolific, it's that he actually has the talent for multiple voices.
