Gotta Love Them "Roxio easy VHS to DVD" / Digital Converters!!!!! :-) I have one of them & my footage from my old vhs tapes are still like new also. It's amazing equipment! :-) I am sure they kept the 1987 footage in a very safe spot to keep it in good condition for years to come.
