  • Well this seems like it is at least worth a shot. I will give it a try and test just how well it works. I don't use anything very often because it is a pain to get off of the top of an SUV with a roof rack in the way.

  • Isn't polishing and waxing 2 different things???

  • @MegaTmarshall this shit aint a polish its a man made wax

  • If it stays fluid at all temperatures, how does it bond and remain on the finish for protection? Second, a polish does not protect, it adds gloss and clarity to a finish. Furthermore, what self-respecting car lover would use a dry microfiber with no spray detailer to remove dust? Swirl city! Anyway, check out Meguiars, they still some of the best products in the business and the best online forum for help.

  • Only an Idiot would use this shit!! Nothing sold in stores is worth a shit, if you can buy it in Walmart dont use it!! If I have to explain why to you than you are the very idiot I am talking about. People buy what is cheap even if it doenst work.

This crap is made for ignorant people that dont know detailing 101

They keep comparing ICE to wax but that is not l apples to apples. this is a sealant polish not a wax! put it next to Ultima PGP and see what happens!

  • This stuff kicks ass

it's easy as hell to use, plus, it brings out a super rich shine

honestly, I used to be an NXT 2.0 fan, but after using this, I'm sticking with ICE

megs can suck a monkey's sweaty cock

  • @havinthangs55 this wax is indeed good and has its use. But i'd recommend you to still use the NXT once every few months, and use this ICE once a month or so, while using a detailer in between washes.

  • The only reason people think this stuff works the way it say it dose, is because they dont want to believe it dosent work after all the money they spent on it. I,v put damn near everything to the test and 90% of the time its the mid priced items that work best.

  • This stuff is for beginners who really cant tell the differents. This ICE crap is just a cover up (auto makeup). The marketers jack up the price and pump your head full of crap to fool you into thinking there product is really better than others.

  • i want it what does the clay do

  • man you gotta do some homework, have you run your hand down your car before? You might feel some gritty particles embedded in your clearcoat. Claying removes ALL of that invisible contaminants from your car. If you wax your car without claying you basically trap the dirty things under the layer of wax.

I always Wash my car, dry my car, clay my car, polish (optional) , then wax!

  • I bought the Ice polish, I compared it to Black Magic Wet Shine wax, the one thing I didn't like about Ice was the fact that it didn't get the water spots out, and after the fact, it didn't feel slippery. I guess if you bought the whole Ice system( clay and polish) probably would have been better, but man, that stuff is expensive. I'll stick to Black Magic and Meguires.

  • I guess you could use mothers, turtle wax, and meguiars if your car costs under $20,000...

  • yeah, thats what i would do. no need to get somthing like this unless you have a sporty or classic car.

  • "once in a life time car care product."

    it sounds big...........LOL

  • i bought thisw product today i was so curious...my truck had blemishes and i was gettin desperate so i tried this product and i was amazed...the truck looks like it came out of the paint shop ...rather than those nasty swirl marks

  • i will stick to meguiars after the original turtle wax i would never trust them agian

  • The lady polishing the orange nissan must be kidding. Wearing a braclet while polishing good way to mess up a finish! If she is a turtle wax rep maybe hire me instead!

  • the idea is guys are supposed to be looking at her tush, not her bracelet.

  • Anyone tried this on brand new car? Streaks are caused on cars subjected to sun with pre existing paint damage at moleculer level. Ive been looking for a product to bling bling a brand new car. Obviously i dont need to burn down the paint or clearcoat.

  • If you have a brand new car with brand new paint or you have an older car with very well maintained paint, ICE is the product for you. It is so easy to use that you can apply it once a month. I would not use this on older paint without restoring the paint first (I doubt you will get the same results).

  • I have the ice paste, and it's dazzling, but i prefer the rich, deep clear, glossy look of that Zymol cleaner wax. I've used so many different maguiars, mothers, turtle wax, blue coral, eagle 1, rally's, kiwi, johnsons, armor all, race glaze, and liquid glass products, and still go back to the Zymol.

  • ok brothers, i did the whole hummer 2day. the polish job took about 1/2 hour total. when i did the black vinyl trim some of the black transferred onto the foam pad and that got onto the white paint finish. i recommend using a seperate application pad for the trim. ez to put on ez to wipe off and polish. the end result is a very slippery feel.

  • i tried it this evening on the white hood of my 2 year old h3 that was professionally detailed last month. After 5 min. it didnt really dry to a haze. i wiped it off, then lightly buffed it. White is very hard to get a reflection off of compaired to dark color car. the reflection i did get was from the clouds in the sky. the best way to explain it is the ice portion reflected the clouds in hi-defination. the untreated area reflected in a less clearer, less sharp duller way. it works well for me.

  • Thanks for your feedback Walliepaulnuts.

  • I just paid 16 bucks at walmart hope its good cant find my reciept!

  • Well, how did it go??? Is it worth it?? I'm thinking about getting Ice, but want to hear if anyone out there tried it and is satisfied with it. Would love to know....thanks in advance.

  • believe it or not i havent even washed my car in a few weeks its still sitting on the counter i plan on using it the next time i wash my car hopefully soon!i will try and remember to reply and let you know ive heard its pretty good did a little research alot more said it was good than bad.

  • well i finally used the turtle wax ice and i would definitely recommend it it worked out great for me it gave my car as good a shine as if i spent 2+ hours detailing it and it only took me about 30 minutes if that.

  • Thank you for the feedback Chrisw40. Would be interested to know how long the beading will last. The company's video above claims to protect for up to 6 months, but general people's consensus on car forums is that the Ice polish only lasts 2 to 3 weeks and then you have to re-apply it again. Though they also say that it's easy and quick to use...and it looks pretty good. I went ahead and bought the liquid clay bar, car wash, polish and detailer..might do it tomorrow..hope I'm not disappointed.

  • Give me meguires synthetic wax any day.

  • Agreed. leave turtle wax to the oldies!!

  • This stuff is excellent, it's nice not having to worry about getting it on the trim etc as it works their as well!

  • Oh yeah baby. I've been using Turtle Wax Original (Green bottle in the UK) - after trying many products since I passed my test 2 years ago. Not sure what effect this will have on fading paintwork (I have a red car :/ ), original Turtle Wax took care of fade for me. Won't hurt to try this though, cheers for the video!
