an engine on either side of the head must make one deaf after a couple races. are earplugs the only countermeasure are can you get helmet with a bit of sound proofing

It does, You should wear earplugs. Sadly not all kart racers realized that back in the day so they are all hard of hearing now. There are no real sound deadening helmets that I am aware of.

great job on the brakes... I used to race bikes at RA... used to race sprint karts WAYYYYY back in the `80's as well.. I see you managed to screw up turn 14 each and every time. Something about turn 14, you never feel you got it perfect, even ifyou get it perfect 100 times in a row. Turn 6 is like that as well.

@ProfessorIgor - I wasn't the driver here. Had an injury from an R1 so I was just the kart owner. There aren't many if any road racers better than the guy driving here though. I wouldn't call it screwing up turn 14, and we led most of the race so I'll take screwing up if thats what it gets you.

the b-stock karts can go upwards of 145 (possibly faster that was 3-4 years ago) im really hoping crashspeed got video of Johnny's wreck at Road Atlanta on the First of November.
