he's talking shit. they don't give you morphine before knowing what is wrong, and they don't give morphine unless it is a lot of pain like surgery. For something like kidney stones they give you codine. I been in hospital enough

Funny enough though, through the digestion process, approx 10% of the codeine is converted into morphine which is then delivered to the brain if I remember correctly. So you are right, they don't give it to you, you give it to yourself.

@ctakitimu well he meant morphine as in morphine drip but thats a very interesting fact i never knew, no wonder codine worked (paracetemol does fuck all) but codine can make you constipated... not great, they would give him codine though if he is complaining of bad pain, they give those out quite willy nilly. not quite like paracetemol (given out like candy as they say in america) but thats cos they do F-all they are a placebo, but maybe that is just my experience, I only have it for bad pain
