friend, Herod has no power out of the realm of his kingdom, albeit limited power, because of the Roman Empire.
Having this limited power which is in subjection to the Roman Empire, how can he determine what happens in Egypt who already has its Pharaoh, even if they were in subjection to the Romans.
But i also said he did not know where they escaped to, in fact he did not even know who he was looking for; hence the indiscriminate killing of infants by his assassins.

when i read the chapter you suggested, this is a prophesy in line with the historical account of what happened to the Hebrews shortly (a few hundred years - not 400 years ago) after they transgressed, and then they were persecuted by the Babylonians (Nebuchadnezzar), Persians, Egyptians, Assyrians and so on in that time era, NOT 400 years ago. Does it in those scriptures talk about skin complexion? no, not anywhere i can see, am i wrong?

if you can show scripture that would be helpful to your case, but even if you did so, how can you know for sure that you or others who say that they Hebrews, are Hebrews - you might be Egyptians?
Also do you recall the scripture concerning Moses' Ethiopian wife? why was there at that time so much prejudice from Levi's wife (if i recall correctly)?

@QweztNetwork -my friend, even if you could show me (scripturally) where blessed Moses looked Egyptian and Ethiopian (of which you haven't done yet), it still does not have any bearing or outcome on the physical description of the Messiah, because Moses was of a different tribe and not of the tribe of Judah; So therefore Moses was not the progenitor of the Messiah - however King David of the tribe of Judah was (the progenitor), and it describes his (David) complexion in 1 Samuel 16:12 and 17:42
