Just ten hours ago I was rushed to the hospital as my father was being revived from cardiac arrest. My sister was in the car with me, visibly shaken and pale when I turned to her and asked if I could put on a Radiohead song. This one was played, and for the first time, it didn't elude me. Every sound was vivid in my mind. The lyrics seemed to express what my dad couldn't: "Yeah everybody leaves, if they get the chance."

In the end, he didn't make it, but instead hit the bottom and escaped.
