The leader singer for the band liked it quite a bit. You can read his comments about it on here. I spent a few months working on it here and there and it came out pretty well, I thought (I really tried hard to get the visuals to work with the music), but it is hard to know and after a while you lose perspective. Perhaps you only THINK it is good:) I showed it to a very talented friend of mine who really liked it so that helped. Thanks for your comment, it is very appreciated.
Each groups thinks that they are absolutely right and anyone who's not in their inner circle is absolutely wrong and deserves to be eliminated. Each group thinks they have the right God & the only Path to reach God and the earth will eventually fall in their hands. All these groups are in fact exactly the same, cut by the same cookie cutter, following the same principal, model, template of intolerance, hate & war.
1of2: The title of your clip is Peace. My comment points out what needs to be eliminated in order to reach peace. I doubt u would just want to promote the great song of Shiva Burlesque. "kukluxklandan88"s Comment seems to say: to reach peace all the people not inside one's inner-circle/ideology/race should be eliminated so that the remaining future generation would not have to ...
2of2: The challenge is that peace can not just happen. It needs a framework. A process of educating people that 1) Do NOT do unto others as you would NOT have them do unto you 2) Relationship to God is a personal relationship. Anyone who claims to have a better connection to god is an impostor 3)What everyone wants is a peaceful life.
As the Iranian Human Rights activist Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi put it: "No ideology is worth the sacrifice of human rights & peace".
killing is animal nature war is human nature and I am a u.s. soldier I dont believe that its a good thing I know it isnt but as long as there are animals there will be killing and as long as there a humans there will be war and when theres a war I would like to end it som my kids n ur kids dont have too. In order to stop that in the middle east we need to turn the dump around muslims hate democracy and communisim. so fight fire with fire.
Back in the 60's Peace & Love, were used in a revolution to break down the established order.
But today there's 'Islam means Peace', which means once the world becomes Muslim then we'll have Peace -- in the reverse also translates into the genocide or mass killing of all those who do not convert.
Peace for the Iranian President might be very different from the Peace you had in mind.
They weren't very similar to Grant Lee Buffalo... Or any of Grant Lee Phillip's solo works. Wow. Cool cello, wonder who plays it. I like the lyrics a lot, too.
Hello, Breggitwil, popworld7 and all here. The beautiful and evocative cello on Peace is played by Greg Adamson. I'm quite certain of this because I'm Jeffrey Clark, the singer on this track, and Greg and Grant Lee Phillips and I wrote the song. I appreciate the kind words here about Shiva Burlesque, and I'm honored popworld7 chose to use it in this video.
Looking back on this video, I see how awesome it is. Well done!
Music and visuals work well perfectly here. Might as well have been the actual music video for the song.

First of all many people don't believe in a GOD at all or even remotely in the same way or even would use the term at all. Stop.

Interesting concept - Peace. In a way it is kind of like - Perfection. Instead of Peace in our time, what about - Perfection in our time?
Who or what do you think could bring us Perfection?
And who or what is most at fault if we don't ever get it?

I thought of it more like living instead of dying myself.

The word Peace has been hijacked.
Back in the 60's Peace & Love, were used in a revolution to break down the established order.
But today there's 'Islam means Peace', which means once the world becomes Muslim then we'll have Peace -- in the reverse also translates into the genocide or mass killing of all those who do not convert.

You mean just like the word "love" means so many different things to so many different people and can be used and abused. I had no idea.
