  • This was supposed to be an individual race, not a team effort. Cooke had to chase down so many attacks by Pooley's team mates. Pooley didn't come to the front until the last lap. The attack by Laws looked planned to set up Pooley's final push by exhausting Cooke.

  • @hipvelo Yeah, was supposed to be an individual race, but either way three riders could keep up with Cooke, Cooke had many failed attacks.
