FARO SHUFFLE TUTORIAL

There's easier ways of doing it. Left hand on the bottom, right hand on top with index and pinky keeping the cards squared. Corner of cards in right hand come in at an angle and you just work it in with hardly any pressure. You don't even need to push the middle with and index finger. I learned it in less than a day, and got it constantly within 3 days, now I don't even need to look at the cards.

Wow first 3 times i done it was almost a perfect one :) there was one card out of place on all 3 times but fuck yea thats a fun shuffle... That now also helps with one of my card tricks :)

There are a few ways of performing this shuffle, but let me say right now, that this is the best I've seen. I've been practising card magic for over a year and can perform perfect riffle shuffles and fluent overhand, hindu and false shuffles, but i've never managed to do this shuffle.

@norbac88 that was my reaction on my firs time too. I started counting to see how many I could get, and I only managed 20 in 2 weeks. It was frustratingly hard. Practice it and you will have it consistent. You would be surprised at the results.

i was getting consistant fairly even ratio shuffles after about 45 mins.. was using standard 808s and destroyed 3 decks.. picked up my black ghosts and boom were flowing nicely.. i guess the cards REALLY do make a difference for these sorts of shuffles.

Nobody "cracks" a perfect faro in 5 minutes - or a week. A perfect faro means deck split evenly, 26/26, and cards woven perfectly with no clumps of two or more cards. It takes months of practice to do it consistently and unerringly and anyone claiming otherwise is talking nonsense.

I had to try over 10 times before i got it since i aM 11 and the cards were plastic coated. oh and one tip, when you do the faro shuffle, to speed it up, make the edge of the left half faace the back of the other half and wriggle your way. up and down and up and down.

Not a perfect shuffle. The cards MUST be cut at exactly 26. Your shuffle had a different number in each packet resulting in what's called a Straddled Faro Shuffle.

This is because I told you exactly how to do it. I'm pretty sure he had to learn through trial and error that there needed to be an angle, twist, and a certain hold in order to do it correctly and that would take quite a long time. Also, with card flourishes, it's really a hit-or-miss thing on how easily you'll get it so take that into consideration. Personally, I did it right on my second try but I would've never guessed how to hold it or angle it if he hadn't mentioned it in this tutorial.
