It looks like you still avidly play AD&D even today. I quit playing back in 1984, but with videogames, didn't see the need to play old school anymore...
Yes. It's a hand made map. I bought blank grid paper with hexes on it and filled it in from my imagination. Any DungeonMaster that is serious about their craft and wants to ensure good gaming should be able to create their own world and then populate it monsters before the first AD&D game ever begins. All you need is some colored pencils and an index for scale, then set a rate for encounters as players travel around the world adventuring.
That is an awesome D&D room. No wonder My boyfriend John always loves going to the meetup on Saturdays. Wish I could go :( but sadly its an hour away by car and I am terrified of cars.
That's because it IS the sword from the Lord of the Rings! The sword is called "Andruil" - Sword of the West, forged from the shards of Narsil. It was broken cutting the ring off the finger of Sauron by Isildir; and re-forged by the Elves of Rivendell for Aragorn to use in "Return of the King".
I purchased it from the Lord of the Rings collection (there was a brochure included along with the DVD).
Nice, my playing space is about half that, more or less. except i have gimli's axe, aragon's sword, sting, and limited edition legolas bow. also, a few 150$ tapestrys. anyways, cool stuff! wunna play some time? =P
wow... i have that same dragon case.. and it's not a gaming night until you bust out the crown royal bags... ahhh my nerd days how i miss thee ( with your damn thac0 )
I didn't film this for an Academy Award nomination - and I didn't even use an actual video camera. I used the Video setting on my digital camera. I'm aware that some portions of the film are dark - but there's still the music and the mood, as well as anticipation of what is going to be seen next - and plenty IS visible overall.
whats the music?

Nice, you use Crown Royal bags as dice bags, that is a sign of a good game, no frills, just pure gaming.
