look at the guys he fights, they're always at least 3 inches taller and 20 pounds heavier. Punch for punch he is a good fighter, watch some of his fights against guys close to his size. He makes for pretty good fights.

Check both players stats before you spew bullshit, Laraque has far more points from the bench then Thorton has on the 4th line thats for sure. Laraque didnt have much of a season this year but hes usually good for more points then Thornton. Laraque has also been the heavy weight champ of the league for years .. your comparing a champ and a chump.

How long has Laraque been in the league? About 5 more years. Of course when he was on teams like edmonton and Pheonix he was actually put to good use. As I said three months ago, the habs got laraque to look less weak and have an answer for Lucic. He is hard to stop along the boards, too bad the canadiens didn't use any of his actual skills to their advantage. Oh and if anyone's the champ, it's Thornton. At lease Thornton has his name on the Stanley Cup.

he did win that fight laraque got thronton down after eating punches then got up and pinned him up against the boards and hit his helmet then thorton still landed a shot right to georges face right before it was broken up. Thornton won that fight he is way smaller and not as strong as larque so u have to give it to him. thornton lost this one and yes boston andy brikley is a good commentator but jack edwards is more like an enthusiastic fan who got the commentator job.
