i didnt find out about this till netflix i watched the first season in like one day then after i was impressed with how much it surpassed all the failed spiderman entries i look it up to see after only one season it was cancled but now i find you uploade them for me good sir thank you where on this earth did you find them?!
Can't believe they cancelled this show. :( I was really looking forward to season 3. It would have been really cool to see the spectacular versions of scorpion and hobgoblin..and find out what happens with norman and peter and gwen and everything. Disney had a great show in their hands...why the frick did they cancel it? Cased on the previews I have seen for ultimate spider-man...I would consider spectacular to be 10,000 time better. I hope they bring this show back and ultimate is cancelled.

They werent cenceled by the networks there were some other factors tha caused them to to end. Sony were about to loose the rights to spidey but they could keep the movie rights if they gave up the animation rights (which they did)/
The animation comany that made wolverine and the X-men closed down due to other factors ending that show. On the bright side Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heores is set in the same universe (and has the same wrighters) so it lives on in a way

@GamerSlyRatchet1 Actualy the plans for the shows to tie into eachother were droped but the director of both show's has comfirmed there still in continuity. Also one of the official Marvel guide books that was released after season one of Avengers ended listed them as part of the same universe.
@TeamTowers1 He said that they could be considered to be in the same universe or not, it made no difference. Their versions of Wendigo are vastly different, though.
And the guide books for both DC and Marvel tend to get some of their info wrong. Not relevant to this topic, but they should not be 100% trusted.

This show wasn't cancelled. The rights for spiderman changed hands, and they decided not to continue it much later. Even if they did continue it, the writers would be different so no telling if a third season would be as GOOD AS THIS ONE!!! For anyone still unsatisfied, here's some fan fiction: Norman pulls the strings for the third season. Gwen finally dumps Harry. Norman lets Harry in on Spider-Man's identity, and Harry becomes Hobgoblin. He kidnaps Gwen, takes her to the bridge, where Peter manages to save her, but Harry kills himself with his glider, but Pete and Harry reconcile before it's over. Peter and Gwen are finally together, but Norman is pissed off, and declares war on Spidey, outing his identity. That would be cool.

The Story can't end like this. So wrong, don't get me wrong the Season 2 ending ( This thing) Is great but there is no Season 3 and that makes me sad.
Spectacular Spiderman, Firefly, Sonic SatAM, Arrested Development... why do such great shows always seem to end before their time. The light that burns twice as bright, burns half as long I suppose...
It pisses me off when I think of all the things we COULD have seen in Season 3. Scorpion and Hobgoblin were confirmed. Miles Warren had control of Dr. Connors's tech. Connors and his family were headed to Florida, and anyone who knows anything about the Lizard knows that nothing good ever comes of him going to Florida. The symbiote is was still out there. Gwen was stuck with Harry while Peter was stuck with no girlfriend. And to top it all off, we now have a viable feud between Harry and Spidey.
the best part of this show really epitomizes the spiderman-comic's groundbreaking "modern superhero" undertones: Spidey, constantly on a Winning upswing. Yet consequentially those actions makes every-Dude Peter Parker's life, constantly losing.

For anyone still unsatisfied, here's some fan fiction: Norman pulls the strings for the third season. Gwen finally dumps Harry. Norman lets Harry in on Spider-Man's identity, and Harry becomes Hobgoblin. He kidnaps Gwen, takes her to the bridge, where Peter manages to save her, but Harry kills himself with his glider, but Pete and Harry reconcile before it's over. Peter and Gwen are finally together, but Norman is pissed off, and declares war on Spidey, outing his identity. That would be cool.

It pisses me off when I think of all the things we COULD have seen in Season 3. Scorpion and Hobgoblin were confirmed. Miles Warren had control of Dr. Connors's tech. Connors and his family were headed to Florida, and anyone who knows anything about the Lizard knows that nothing good ever comes of him going to Florida. The symbiote is was still out there. Gwen was stuck with Harry while Peter was stuck with no girlfriend. And to top it all off, we now have a viable feud between Harry and Spidey.

With the amazing story telling, characterization and the incredible action scenes, this show was on it's way to becoming one of the best superhero tvshows EVER!!!...but u hav Disney to blame for canceling...ultimate spiderman better be good if they had the guts to shut this show down

@johnwall2wizards Don't get your hopes up, I found that apparently Drake Bell is staring as Spiderman in the upcoming cartoon. Besides, it already sounded like a disaster even before that. Disney taking something as dark and poorly written as Ultimate Spider and trying to make a kids show out of it staring a celebrity that can't act? Let's face it, Disney screwed up just as everyone expected.

Wow can't believe this was cancelled. After the 1994 Spider-man this is a very close second. Too may shows nowadays get cancelled on a whim, maybe if they didn't put them on abstract channels like WB that only a few people get, it would have a chance.
