  • hes awesome

  • This is EXACTLY what "Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson is about.

  • @ zombiebunny and cbgardner

what are your problems? does the man really bother you that much? i think you need to work on some things yourself.

this mans lyrics are more inspiring than anything i've heard, and i'm not even religious.

  • Aaron:

We need to work on you paint going on the object in task, and not your clothing.

    :)

  • I love this man! So humble and unique. The most genuine person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!

  • 10 IDIOTS~

  • SO THUMBS UP TO THAT!

  • WE ALL HAVE TO BAND TOGETHER & OVER THROW THE GREEDY BASTARDS ! THERE IS FAR MORE OF US THEN THER IS THEM! THE REVOLUTION IS COMING WE ARE NOT GONNA STAND FOR THE GREEDY PLASTIC PIGS HOLDING US DOWN TIME TO OVER THROW THE GOVERNMENT !THEY ARE SNEAKY THEY ARE LIARS & THEY ARE THE ONES DESTROYING OUR BEAUTIFUL PLANET FOR THERE PROFIT~IT TIME FOR CHANGE~ WE ARE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANY MORE~ ITS TIME TO GET OUT OF OUR ELECTRIC CHAIRS &LIKE IS SAID BAND TOGETHER THERE IS STRENGTH iN #'S

  • Why do you care what clothes he wears does that determine what type of person he is? and why judge him on the fact that he has many beliefs yet he's still trying to learn more? Are we not all confused and trying to figure ourselves and the world around us out? Why do I care that some people are so close minded? too many questions. If you actually take the time to listen to his music instead of judging his clothes and what he says in interviews you'd know his a genuine person who try's to help o

  • This guy needs to pick what he believes and stick with it. A tree that's constantly moved grows no roots. Saying that everything is true is a cop out for needing to stand up for truth. Truth is not relative. Different beliefs don't get you to the same place just as different chemicals don't cause the same reaction.

  • you have pain all over your clothes, do you not realize that? why get some casual clothing like a normal person instead of trying to be too cool

  • @ZombieBunny501 youre username is zombie bunnie so you are obviously not so normal yourself

  • This guy is so genuine.

  • yes, he is actually going to heaven. he is a beleiver

  • All the answers...must be nice. I'll leave you to that.

  • @ mrhappiness777 seems like you feel you got all the answe

  • I'm athiest and I totally love this man.

  • he's so deep<3

  • just sing aaron

  • I would give anything in order to hug this man.

  • MeWithoutYou Live In Concert !

    youtube.com/watch?v=NEY2O91AsG0

  • His voice is so nice. He's a great inspiriation.

  • wearing paint covered clothes, speaking the truth.

  • I completely disagree with his views and believe he has been misinformed, but I find his way of expressing his displeasure commendable. He dosen't appear to be the kind to sit on his perch and yell down at other people. Refreshing to say the least.

  • I am from Philly. I am glad to sway that because of him. hahaha

  • I want this man to be my english teacher

  • It's funny; I thought i was going to be surprised by his talking voice. But NOPE

  • Power, burocratic power, social power, financial power, every kind of peripheral human power other than inner and real strengh. I really beleive that is the root of social problems, like poverty

  • i like how they use mainly neutral colors on their album covers...they almost seem like puzzle pieces.

  • I honestly have no clue why some of you are saying he has Aspegers, but to clear a few things up, let me tell you: A.S is a mild form of autism. People with A.S are allot better off than people with just Autism. In fact, A.S would be an improvement for those with bad case of autism. There is a degree of how bad you have A.S though. He could have a mild case of it. Regardless of what you think, It is not impossible for people who are successful to have it. Bill Gates and Einstein had it.

  • @jediknight28 yeah those are fun cute little internet facts but dont be so sure bill gates and einstein had it. especially with out proof. google a little bit more thn the first 2 links or wikipedias list of people who "possibly" had it.

  • @omghai2u yeah dude, i know. There is no way to know but it seems likely. Einstein was without a doubt not a normal person and there had to of been a reason behind it.

  • @jediknight28 instead of calling them autistic why not refer to everyone else who is autistic as a being whos unable to focus all of that psychic energy into something we find to be constructive. they succesfully harnessed most of that energy, it is beyond simply autistic, if it even is that. i think of autism as a a person misplacing all of that energy

  • He's not autistic!!!! my goodness, he said it himself. It's a stupid rumor. and @123456789anda0 the simple way is actually up and running. Check out their site.

  • 9 people need to wake up

  • the simple way buildings burnt down in 2007. Does anyone know if they have rebuilt?

  • How is there even one dislike on this video? Shame.

  • the simple way & mewithoutyou are crazy amazing (:

  • that was a very well articulated response

  • He's cool.

  • He is autistic. They say autistic people always have one extraordinary skill, and his is obviously his lyrics and voice.

  • @BrittanyTHC He isn't autistic, that was just a rumour that went round, he himself said he isn't.

  • Comment removed

  • @firebreather93 orly. thanks.

  • @BrittanyTHC not autistic, he has aspergers i believe.

  • @TitsMcAssh0le

    Aspergers is autism

  • @usedsnow it's a different type. Autism, you don't know how to express emotion. as you can see, he can.

  • @TitsMcAssh0le that's like saying Ford is not a truck

  • best man in the world

  • We got to get this man in the white house

  • @waimster he would hate that. haha

  • i love how opened minded and open they are. Also, charitable they are. Nevertheless, they are insane. But it is a good insane. They are some of the best Christians ever. And best of all they don't preach their religion to everybody.

  • One of the most beautiful souls! I love this man.

  • this dude is awesome, stop pointing fingers look at yourself, so awesome

  • oh SHUT THE FUCK UP you babbling twat

  • @LeeGrasswalker Truly, you are the dumbest person on Youtube. You should try doing something besides sitting your smack talking, 14 year old over weight ass online and trashing other people. Idiot.

  • @LeeGrasswalker Seriously its pretty ironic who you are and what the video is talking about.

  • Matthew 5:14-16

14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

  • @my83gti - this IS true witnessing, not shoving it down people's throats, forcing your view on others, casting pearls, etc...LIVE BY EXAMPLE...that's the best any of us of our own "mighty" human will (vs. God's) can do for others, the rest is solely up to God. MAN does not save MAN, GOD saves man, and this is a fact that gets blurred far too often in religious teachings/concepts/doctrines, at the point of making God look weak/uncaring or just incompetent, even if its not directly intentional.

  • god, i love him <3 :D

  • He's adorable-- gettin' all sociopolitical and shit. ;p

  • This made me very happy. His heart is in the right place. It's kind of cute how he's visibly nervous. :]

  • Бог нека те чува AAron

  • Everything starts at the heart. And he has one thats pushing him in the right direction.

  • He really has inspired me though, just to begin doing good, and praying more often.

  • You can tell that his mind moves at about 1,000 mph but that he is obviously mentally disturbed or frustrated. It's all visible in his speech and movement. Having an awesome band and writing some of the most poignant lyrics imaginable must be quite a release for his thought process.

  • I heard he was autistic. Not messed up, but little disorder

  • nope

  • @Hulkbannerbruce yea, he is.

  • iamkilroy - you posted the exact same comment for another video:( once wasn't enough?? Why not follow Aaron's own speaking and work out what's in your heart before judging him?

Aaron rocks my world, musically and spiritually!!

  • Aaron is the front man in my favorite band. I enjoy his music immensely. I just find it interesting. Why don't you follow Aaron's own speaking (by the way, he steals many of his lyrics from various religious philosophers) and work out what's in your heart before you follow my comments around on youtube and judge me? Asshole

  • If god is real and heaven is real, this man is going there

  • @plindex any proofs? no! :)

  • @squigg0th You mean any proofs of God? No, of course not, thats why I said if.

I just think Weiss is a good man is all.

  • @plindex Yes, of course he is :) I love this band.

  • @plindex you don't know it's real man? if you message me or something, i'll help you understand.

  • @plindex It's not, that's not and he won't be.

  • @TheMarsVo1ta Okay. Glad we have you here to clear that one up.

  • @plindex Aww hey don't mention it champ

  • @plindex and even this man cannot work his way to heaven... only by faith. None are good.

  • @MrHappiness777 - it's a good thing that the Bible teaches that all men will be saved, all men will confess with their tongue Jesus Christ is Lord (and bow down), that confession to God can only come FROM the Holy Spirit, and that Faith itself is of God, not man, lest any should boast; so Plindex was correct, if not overly in-depth with his explanation/understanding. Aaron IS going there. We'll all meet there someday and have tea while listening to these songs.

  • @cleverest sorry... but the Bible does NOT teach that all men will be saved... yes all men will confess He is lord... But in matthew 7 Jesus explains that not all who say Lord emphatically will make it to heaven. Demons know who is lord, but what difference does that make? You don't really understand what you are talking about, there is contradiction in what you say. Confessing through faith takes the holy spirit, but when you see Him, you will not need faith.

  • @MrHappiness777 I assure you, scripture DOES teach all of this, even if most churches do not. It also teaches that most teachers/religions, etc, would wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived, it's not talking Buddhists. In Revelation when it says "Come out of her (referring to Babylon), it says MY people" -MY" this isn't some future portent, this happens NOW, it's a book to be experienced NOW (in our lifetime), I can't do this via youtube comments, invite you to msg me to discuss more

  • @MrHappiness777 - or you can dismiss me as another heretic and not communicate any further with me save a last response in a little comment, etc....either way, God will illuminate all of us, in HIS own good time, not mine and not yours. Scripture teaches that too I'm happy to say. God's knowledge will cover the world, and all the inhabitants WILL LEARN righteousness, I'll be happy to back this all up with scripture if you care. Otherwise, best wishes and warm thoughts.

  • @MrHappiness777 Also Matthew 7 only reinforces my assertion, as who do you think is saying LORD LORD, and "have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? do you think they are making that up, There is no rebuke from Christ calling them liars....these are your typical Christians, not pagans or atheists in question. Is their fate eternal hell in fire as so many others supposedly experience? I would argue NO, and I would defend that claim well, given a fair chance.

  • @cleverest WHAT?!!! how does matthew 7 at ALL reinforce anything you just said? it completely contradicts. It says directly "NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS TO ME, 'LORD, LORD,' WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN", it says it directly. Only the one who does the will of my father. Think of it logically here... you can call somebody lord, but if you arent following His law like He actually is your master, then He isn't your personal Lord that you want to follow. Of course God is in power though.

  • @MrHappiness777 This is the sort of discussion/debate that could go on for a long time and isn't really tenable on YouTube, so I will just respond about "one who does the will of my father." those who aren't doing the will are the ones in question, true enough, but I simply assert that *most Christians are IN that group, teaching damnable heresies 'Ex: God torturing the majority of his creation.' If we can't address that point, then I guess there is no reason to continue this. God bless you.

  • @cleverest I dont understand what you're saying. God is not torturing the majority. Your point is irrelevant. The point is we don't make it into heaven through works, and doing the will of God means repenting and following Jesus.... so unless you or him repent, neither make it to heaven.

  • @MrHappiness777 - Like I said, this isn't the format for this sort of discussion, but I'll just say that If most of all life in this creation ends up in an eternal hell of torture, then God is in fact torturing them for all eternity (no they don't "choose" to go there, no sane person would), which was my point, which IS relevant. Doing God's will also means not teaching damnable heresies like eternal hell and God must drag you to him to follow, you don't follow from your own 'carnal' goodness.

  • @MrHappiness777 As stated before, this isn't the place for this discussion, we've already wasted enough time and space here, if you want to keep talking/arguing(?) about these issues, message me and we can go from there.

  • @cleverest there is nothing to discuss, its clear as day

  • i was just homeless in kensington! he is right, if you don't understand the horrors that our own society inflicts upon itself go look for yourself! north philly wuddup!

  • Fourty, worst things worse, what happens?

  • Sorry, you didn't reply to me so I didn't get this message.

Worst thing that can come from following God? Look at the middle east.

  • Aaron Weiss makes a good point

  • This dude gave me cole slaw outside one of his show

  • he gave me a sip of his flat but refreshing cherry coke

  • He gave me a granola bar XD

  • I WANA HEAR THIS!

  • @NightRanger77

He gave my friend at towel when he cut his head open at one of their shows and had blood running down his face.

  • @NightRanger77

he gave me a peanut butter cookie that he made!

    I win!

  • I'll never become a christian.

But I will follow this guy anywhere.

  • do you know whats going to happen in your life?

i mean for sure nothing is certain

  • What do you mean?

    Of course nothing is certain.

  • Why not, he is striving to become one. Why would you fallow him?

  • This guy is a really good person.

I would totally give up time from my life to hang out with him and see what he has to say.

    I just wouldn't convert.

  • why won't you be a christian?

  • I have more important things to do I guess.

  • whats more important than loving each other?

  • I don't need religion for that.

  • christianity is about following christ and being more like his example, its not following traditions and reciting prayers that youre taught to say, its forgiveness love and peace

  • This is true, but as I said before I don't need Jesus to tell me how to treat others.

Most people are good with or without religion.

  • The whole idea does come from jesus. . Of course people are good because God designed them that way. It doesn't matter if you believe in him, he still loves you no matter what. He wants you to prosper and be good:) People praise God and Jesus for all that they have done. Thanking him can only lead to your life to be full of many more blessings. :)

  • It's a cute answer, and I respect it because it seems this is something you actually believe.

I just know God did not design me to be a good person, this would take away free will he gives (if he exists).

  • i sense an existentialist near by...

    yes? no?

  • True that.

  • he is. he was just raised under two different religions, which glorified God, but didn't believe Jesus died for our sins. and he mentions those religions because they have greatly effected his life. but he is still a Christian.

  • hahaa, i love how the camera jumps when he spreads his arms and goes "LANDSCAPE"

  • just do the right thing

  • It looks like he just got back from a serious paintjob.

  • ahahhaa, it doess

  • Comment removed

  • everyone argues with this subjuect, dont say autism.

  • he definitely does not have autism. sorry to inform you

  • He has social anxiety disorder.

  • Comment removed

  • im almost certain hes clean as a whistle

  • For those who wish to help the world as Aaron does, it doesn't take a guitar and lyrical ability. It takes warmth and love; the more smiles you create, the more compassion you give, the more the world truly is becoming a better place. Truth, love, compassion it all starts at home. If you want to change the world, simply start by being the best you can be and helping your brothers and neighbors in any way possible.

And, right on, about the religion. Truth is the Lord of the righteous.

    Peace.

  • The thing is, you can think exactly like this guy without following any religion. He doesn't tell anyone to follow the christian faith. I don't, but still understand what he says. I've thought like him since I was a little kid, after I left religion.

  • i talked to this fellow last night. and he did exactly what he said he wanted to do. reminded me indirectly of how things are and did in fact inspire me to correct myself. he talked about eliminating wants for some reason, possibly to lessen suffering. he really is one of the nicest people on the continent.

  • Connected to a higher power or not, it does take a lot of seeing things both evil and good to be grateful for what you have and who you are. I hope that I can rise out of my apathy one day and help the world like Aaron does.

  • "wherefore" means "why", not "where"

  • he is so amazing, i love him & the way he takes every opportunity to share Christ!

  • "abandoned factories, I would drive by"

His normal way of speaking sounds like poetry

  • lol it wasn't "abandoned factories, I would drive by", he intended it as "abandoned factories [that] I would drive by". What's poetic about that?

I love Aaron Weiss but don't use silly exaggerations.

  • Comment removed

  • Umm, no, I didn't add a word. When words are placed in square brackets in quotes, it means the word isn't actually there but is implied. You misinterpreted what he said.

  • Comment removed

  • Acctually Juliet was asking "Why are you Romeo?" Shakespeare and Aaron both generally use proper english lol

  • He might be the nicest person I have ever met in my life!

  • He is one of the nicest guys to grace this earth. This video and his music shows it. MEWITHOUTYOU thank you for your music.

  • such a great guy..

  • nope

  • He was raised Jewish.

  • That doesn't mean that he is Jewish.. people can switch faiths.

  • no,he's a jew.

    as in the ethnicity.

  • "Jew" isn't an ethnicity...

  • Comment removed

  • and as far as religion goes,

his father and mother converted to sufism

    he wasn't raised jewish

  • They didn't "convert" to Sufism. They were raised in a Sufi home, their parents had converted to separate religions. Sufi isn't a religion.

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry buddy, no need to get so upset just because you were wrong about something. You seem to be an mewithoutYou fan, but you're the type of person Aaron Weiss feels sorry for.

  • i dont really care dude

    haha

I thought sufiism was like sect of islam

kind of like how Catholicism is with christianity and and Iv seen/read a lot of interviews where aaron says he grewUp in a "sufi" home and all this stuff about sufiism

I find inspiration through Aaron,he's an amazing individual and I wish I could show half the faith he shows through his "everyday walk"..

Also I have every album but ive been looking for their EP somewhere online.

    :D

I was just being a dick and I apologize.

  • It's cool dude, just if you want to show support for people like Aaron Weiss, maybe you shouldn't say things like "kill yourself" to people. lol

  • Its kind of hard to show emotion via text and if I told you in person; it would have been a more humorous occasion, I assure you

    lol

and yeah you dont have to go around correcting everyone like its important or anything or as if it "matters"

    haha

  • Finishing my thought from my last post:

I'm a Christian, or at least I believe in God and I want to call myself a Christian. But most of my life I've just believed all the right things and never thought about living a life that is an alternative to our culture of materialism and independence. I've just come to understand this, and I'm trying, but its hard to keep from subconciously falling back into comfort.

And lastly, Aaron is one of the most authentic followers ever.

    aight peace out...

  • I really liked what you had to say, thank you for putting that out there! It's not easy, so you have my respect!

  • He is a very nice and humble man. I've met him several times, as well as the other guys. I've even gotten hugs. They are a great inspiration in many ways to me.

  • Comment removed

  • he's so cute.

  • I want to hug him.

  • What is wrong with you people

  • quit with the big bird crap lol

    it's prolly paint

  • Legend.

"How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you don't see the beam in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you'll see clearly enough to remove the speck from your brother's eye."" - Luke 6:42

    Exactly described by Aaron there.

    :)

  • this guy is pretty awesome. he's so down to earth. he is deffinetly a role model for me.

  • rofl! "did a big bird crap on him" rofl im laughing so hard

  • Not "a big bird". Big Bird from sesame street specifically.

  • ROFL SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMFAOFOAFO

  • are you even listening to what he's saying?

  • Did big bird crap on him on the way to the interview?

  • lol no, he lives as a homeless eating from the trash and stuff for spiritual reasons. He visited a Christian community and learned about simple living, he says it cured his depression and suicidal thoughts. I guess this kind of lifestyle would appear ridiculous to the average Churchian but Aaron is actually a true Christian. Many suburbia Churchians are very surprised to find out that the horrible churchy Sunday club bullshit they practice is not real Christianity.

  • Not being judgemental but "churchianism" is an invention of the american church.

I'd love to say that us asians have a better grasp of what following Christ is all about, unfortunately i can't because there are lot of people in my country who are influenced by the prosperity gospel and other such "clownworks" perpetrated by the american church. It just leaves people being confused and empty. I was one of them. I have since found that He condemns no one and His grace perfects us to become holy.

  • Yes the official religion of America is not Christianity it's Churchianity.Sunday club empty religious formalism, an environment where greed and ego, jealousy, hatred, immorality thrives. It has nothing to do with God or Christ or any of the higher values of humanity.

"It just leaves people confused and empty" to say at least.

  • Well, while what you said seems to be a bit extreme, I basically agree. Most Christians I see are so comfortable and happy with going to church on Sunday, tithing and donating to the nearest Contemporary Christian radio station, thinking they did their part.

Check out the church in Acts and compare to the modern church
