Im a Muslim and so dont celebrate Christmas, but have to say that this is one of my all time favourite christmas carol, it brings back memories of when i when i was a young girl at school and singing christmas carols at assembly. it didnt matter that i wasnt a Christian, I loved Christmas time when I was a girl, its such a pity its too commercialised these days!

I like it - the voices are marvellous, and the backing imaginative - but what *is* that merry thing? The traditional words are "organ", and that's what's listed, but it's not what's sung, is it? Sounds like "merry-o".

(I admit it's hard to sing with that tune.)

I am trying to bring some of them back to life in my churches. I found it on iTunes and just instantly loved it. it is perfect for teaching it to a choir or kids and the instrumentation is very traditional. I just love it to this day lol.
