What happens to the screen exactly if you don't buy one of those half gloves? I'm ordering a cintiq this week and I plan on getting the glove thingy too, but what will happen to the cintiq if I didn't?

nothing will happen if you don't press your fingers or palm agaisnt it.

Oil is something that comes from your fingers. If it smudges the screen it will definatly cause some future consequences.

It will really suck a lot :(...

Thats why I would recommend wearing some type of protective gloves.
