  • Just to let you know, at the beginning of your video the word "entertaining" is spelled wrong. Please don't hate me for pointing that out, but I'm a stickler for misspelled words. Love ALL your videos, and think your totally awesome!!!!

Keep your eye out for a new before and after extreme home makeover currently underway. We should have it uploaded before New Years!

    Thanks again, RR

  • nice video!

  • You have a very lovely home. I don't have as much to work with. Would red wine go in my Taco Bell cup, and white go in the Guinness glass I stole from Fionn MacCools?

  • Personally joshlee1090, I would choose the Guinness glass for the red and the taco bell cup for the white.

Heres why, The Guinness glass is clear and will allow the red color to show through nicely ;-)

The more casual white in the Taco bell cup or better yet, Rubios cup especially if you are serving Fish tacos!

Remember, attitude is everything. When you get that concept, you will see money, and things aren't what holds you back. . . Be creative!

  • Awesome!

  • Wow wow wow! I think a mixture of your mother's tips and your own hands on creativity has produced a stunning result! Bet you're table is the most awesome on xmas day and thanksgiving in the whole of America! A true work of art :-) x

  • For some reason I feel more sophisticated and Adequate after watching this... Even though I do most of my eating at fast-food restaurants, I think after watching this I might try to go the extra mile the next time I'm in the position of having friends over!!!

  • I know me too!

  • watching you is very mesmerising

  • Thank you . .I think

    RR

  • Rebecca,

I sent my 15 year old daughter your video on how to set a table and she will teach you how to make her killer bacon waffles and eggs! Deal? 5 star video!

  • Awesome . . . .. my dinner guests will be ever-so-thankful if she can successfully pull it off.

I appreciate your nice comments :-)

    Thanks,

    RR

  • I loved this video...you are so spunky it's true, it's true, it's true, it's true! Thanks for the awesome tips!!!

  • Rebecca, I love your color choices here. I have never thought about putting a napkin under the placemat but I like it. I always think placemats are too small for all the glasses and utensils to fit. I like how your wineglasses fit on the same angle as the napkin. Not half on, half off. . I hate that!

Great job. I am a fan!

  • I ran out of digits with Ialamazu so I am taking extra space to complete my answer to her question regarding artificial plants.

I prefer to use fresh greens where I have ample light and in areas close enough for people to touch. I do use artificial high quality plants in out of reach bookshelves or upper shelves.

Ialamazu, if many professionals have advised you not to use artificial plants it's probably an obvious issue in your particular decorating style and should be taken seriously.

    RR

  • Okay. Let me ask you a question. Are artificial plants okay to use? Obviously, you like them but many professionals advise you not to decorate with them. What say you?

  • Ialamazu, how nice of you to watch my video and to take the time to comment. To answer your question. Artificial plants are always O.K. to use throughout a project. The question is how many, where, what type and what quality. For example, I have been in homes that have outdated silk plants scattered about with dust caked on them. Those are gross and I would agree with the many professionals you have consulted with . . . it's tacky.

However in the case of this video, all plants shown are fresh.RR

  • Rebecca, that was great!

    you are hilarious!

Good to know about the forks being in the order you use them. I always wondered about that. I just usually do what the guy next to me does . . haha we could all be doing it wrong!

Thanks for the tips. . keep em coming!
