I'm sorry to all the patriots of America out there( I'm not American, which is exactly why someone would get defensive over this, hey this is the comments section!) but it's said so often in so many speeches 'Freedom' & Justice for 'all' I'm just thinking to myself that 'this is pure and utter hypocrisy'. So what? Freedom and justice for all except LGBT? Videos like this justify my claims. Anyone arguing with me-I urge you- please don't use the bible to justify your claims.
honestly i dont see any difference in someon who is gay being in the military and a FEMALE being in the military. actually a female being in is worse IMO.they cause a lot of distractions.
I can see you are very attracted to this issue as you have left comments on a number of my videos. You have made your opinions public. I am also here to do the same about my opinions/experiences.
I'm a gay man who supports gay marriage and the right of gay people to serve in the armed services.
I live in the U.K. where gay people have been allowed to serve in the military for several years now. The British Army didn't collapse as a consequence and the sky hasn't fallen.
Most western European countries allow gay people to serve in the armed forces and have some kind of gay marriage or Civil Partnership.
Yea Liberty and Justice for All are pretty words..but just that - words...EMPTY words! As an American Im ashamed...our country says one thing, and does the opposite!
I'm sure that eventually the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy will be removed. When that happens, I have thought about showing up to work wearing tight jeans with ripped holes in the knees, a rainbow flag cape, a wife beater, and a tiarra/feminine looking crown, yell suprise, and do a twirl! I would not actually do that but, it sounds like a good idea!
I just thought, straight military men have no right to say they are afraid of being raped by homosexual service members. Heterosexual male service members account for 99% of all rapes in the military. It's either homophobia, a serious mental disorder, or it is a society based fear of losing the perception of their masculinity. Silly heteros.
We need more soldiers now than ever, and the DoD STILL kicks out 2-3 gay soldiers *every day*. I guess if people are uncomfortable because of some primal fear of homosexuality instilled into them by way of religion, social interaction, etc; we have no right to be gay if it infringes their right to feel comfortable.
